"I won't go far, or be long." she assures him, and steps away to have a look.

"Oh I intend to go with you. You are my liege. I'm no troll but i know not going alone would be wise" he follows

The 'trail' is narrow, but not unused. Many foot prints of tourists who were unwise and less savory sorts have used it also

She nods, allowing it, and off they walk.

The path is between some overgrown plants and old buildings. There are signs of a dirty needle here or there and other abandoned drug paraphenelia

While she is no detective, Jessica knows the value of paying attention and being on guard is typical for her. She does finds something under a beer can.. an arrow head?

"Mmph." she scoops it up, shows the Baron.

A frown, "I see I am too trusting of my patrols. I told them to search thROUGHLY"

"I was looking for it."

"They were supposed to as well" He says "It could be one of our allies arrows, but might also be one of our enemies"

Jess uses point of the arrow to draw a small amount of blood, which she smears on the arrow head. "Who made you?" she whispers.

"Crafted by a Fletcher named Osido, worker in obsidian and knower of the old ways. He hoped I would be used to drive out the usurpers, the invaders"

"Where were you made?"

"Ten miles or so north of what the invaders call El Golfo de Santa Clara"

"Not quite on the Pennsuila" The varich mutters

"For what purpose were you crafted?" she whispers.

"To kill interlopers, Kithain, traitors, and Mer"

Jess nods and glances at the Baron as the cantrip fades.

"Definitely one of the mainland terrorists"

She nods. "I wonder if it would be worth trying to follow a Will o Wisp to its user.

"You have such magic?"

"No." she admits "But we could ask someone to come?"

"As you wish, who would you suggest?"

"Well, sooner is better; do you have anyone who can do it? They'd be closest."

"I do know a knight, a balor who has that gift"

"Do you trust this knight?"

"As much as a Balor can be trusted" Wry

She nods. "Alright. Will you contact him?"
