Her fingers trail absently into the Flames again.

the flames return to circling around her fingers in return

"Oh, there's also a food delivery from Rivervale" Diego says

"Rivervale?" curious, she gets up to go check "Excuse me." to them both.

"of course" Diego waves

And off Jessica goes ot the kitchen. It is bustling and busy , double staffed...

for Beltaine is soon and there is much to do

She tries not to get in the way, and preemptively grabs a snack to hold, showing she's been eating, before trying to figure out what is from Rivervale.

Wielding the banana she has taiken like a cross against vampires, she weaves her away around a bit... and sees it, a large basket from rivervale which smells of good things

Maria looks over "They sent us food for you to show they think of you on Beltaine" She explains

Jess nods. "I'm going to call, later."

"There's a card in there" Rosita speaks up

The card, if opened, is a drawing of the land around Rivervale, beautifully done. Inside, the words 'The Sun Shine Bright on you as you shine and make us proud' and it is signed by her mom, dad, uncle, sister, and so many more

"Aw jeeze...." she mutters.

"Are you okay, Jessica?" Maria asks

"Yeah." She taps the card on her fingertips. "Excuse me, please...." and she heads for her room.

And to her room she goes where she can have her feels in private. As trolls prefer!

She gets to work with art supplies she picked up on the way there.

Indeed, and none disturb her

She sets up her garb for Beltaine, first; the robes and sash and all. Then festive garb for after, something more .... well, something more.

THEN she makes a card, taking her time to make it hand-made and heart-felt.

Fortunately, time with the childlings has honed her 'hand made and heart felt' skills.

Finished, she stands and paces around the room, looking for items that might suit her family and friends at Rivervale.

Knicknacks, books, accessories....

Well, not like she went shopping for them recently.

But... there is a very stylish hand crafted poncho

That will do. And there are a few books, sure. A few Nunnehi-type items she purchased. A baleros. And a couple of leather folk bags. The other stuff will fit in those for delivery.

Jess feels satisfied with the choices, and includes the card with the rest of it all.

Soon she has it all together...

and a boggan is at her door as if he sensed a need.

"Oh!" Jess is startled by the boggan's sudden appearance when she opens the door. "Hi."

"Flamefree, did you require anything? You've been reclused for a bit and my Aunt Maria thought you might need help?"

"Oh, um. Well.... I want to get this to Rivervale." She hefts the satchel-package.

"Would you like me to deliver it on your behalf or wish to go yourself?"

"I, um, I can't really go." she pauses "I think?"

"No, I can't."

"Very well, happy to deliver it for you then" He offers again

"Oh, um. Yes. Thank you." she passes it over.

And he takes it, and moves off, like a proud worker ant!

Jess pauses, second-guessing her choice.

If she wants to catch him she best do it now

She.... doesn't.

And off he goes

Jess takes a moment to collect herself before she heads back out.

Yes, decorations and prep far more done now

So seeing.... Jess grabs her maul and ... well, takes a walk with purpose.

Purpose, happy to have company again, takes long strides

And thus, she forays out.
