Another day, another patrol

As Jessica knows her lands well

Still, can't be too careful.

Patrols are as much maintenance as they are 'touching grass' as they say.

Indeed. As she moves by, she sees Duff outside of his shop. He flags her down

She approaches, wary not of him, but the surroundings; she knows the area, and it's not -exactly- safe.

"Jessica. I know you're on patrol, but I'll be brief. We've got thallian"

"This is what patrol is for, Duff. How many, doing what, where, when, and what were they carrying?"

"Three of them, they came into my shop, I assume for a tattoo but when they saw I was a kithain, they backed out. About ten minutes ago. I was working on a client or I might have shadowed them. Looked like two goblins and a Bogart"

She nods. "Got it. Can you call it in to the Freehold? I'll look around."

"I was thinking of going with you. You really shouldn't patrol alone so often." He mmphs

"Well, you call it in and I won't be alone for long."

She heads off, on guard now.

A grunt ("Still a vexing woman to the bone") But he doesn't sound ANGRY per se and he makes the call

She looks about, and finds it... the gumwrapper, but it's an american brand... bad enough they could be ravaging, but clearly these t hallian are litter bugs. With that clue, she listens for chewing as she walks past alleys and the like. Then she hears one, to the left

She approaches with as much stealth as she muster, maul at the ready. If possible, she plans to make them tent pegs.

Chewing, chewing... Popping...

Oh he has it coming, he has it coming, he only has himself to blame

She recalls there was more than one, and they were together.

So she keeps her eyes open.

Sure enough, she sees two goblins, one chewing gum. But where is the Bogart?

They don't see her, not yet

She looks for the little bastard specifically.

She sees him, and he sees her, the boggan looking creature says "With friends like me, who needs enemies? " And throws a coke can at her, an empty one...

The empty can falls short, but spins... and suddenly she realizes this boggart is a friend, a buddy of hers!

"Hey there, Pal. " He says walking up oddly cautious for a friend

OOC AH! Well, that roll deserved it.

"Oh, it's you. Hi."

"Hey how goes it, you're looking healthy" He says "Sorry about the misunderstanding. I know my friends look like goblins but they're really just nockers with bad complexions"

"heh..yeah?" One goblin chews his gum.. nope. He pops

A frown. "You sure?"

"Sure I'm sure... I know how busy you are or I'd introduce them..." the boggart says

Then that ... nocker... pops his gum ONE MORE TIME

and suddenly, the cantrip breaks

And Jessica realizes this boggart just messed with her mind! And yeah, these are ALL Thallians

Ok, that's enough of that. Tent-peg-time.

She attacks.
