She clotches a small box to her side "This is mine. I quested for it. And it's sluagh business." An addendum "Girl sluagh business"

"Yes, he told me of selkies. " She reminds "You suggested I talk to him"

Mitra looks over at Jessica "Maybe we should start lojacking any Rivervalers as they come through your trod?"

"Yes, that's your business, your quest, and your box." she confirms "Let's get you to Fontaine's pool."

A nod then "And perhaps tea?"

A small smile. "Definitely tea."

the girl looks molified "Very well. I shall go with you, Miss Jessica. You're quite civlized, you know?"

Mitra hides a smile at that

"Thank you. I'm sure my folks tried to raise me right."

"Oh yes, the Chieftain And Sir Franklyn are quite sensible folk over all. " The little girl nods sagely, "A touch high strung about mistakes I fear." Then a pause "Are you sure Lady Captain Siv isn't adopted?"

Mitra tries not to SNORT at that

"Actually. I am. Come on." and she leads the girl down, perferably gently.

Down they go, and return to Fenix. Mitra sticks with them, so Jessica doesn't get worried comments about patroling alone.

Jess might not even register this concession as she pushes the motorcycle along.

Her bike is taken away and put up for her, and the little girl is guided to Fontaine. Someone yells out "PANTS!"

"I know, I know" Fontaine calls back

"So loud" Lily mmphs

"I can see if we have somethig to wear in the water, if you like." she offers "Maybe a big teeshirt?"

"That would be nice" She says "Whose corpse will you be getting it from?"

Mitra says "That would spoil the mystery." Then a look to Jessica "Need me for anything else?"

"No, I think you're doing just fine..." to Mitra "Thank you."

"Always a pleasure" Mitra says "I would love to stick around , but passion and duty calls" She bows, and moves on

And soon, a little girl is in the water getting healed

"The ladies in the kitchen can you something to eat if you like and I'll have tea sent."

And she does.

Rosa an Maria are back , hang overs gone, and at work. Tea is sent, and Jessica... "Please, Contessa, sit down, have a meal. "

She does so, only slightly reluctant. "I still have a lot of patrol to cover...."

"Oh let Sir Phobos have some fun too. And his brother. You know how redcaps are, they likee the monster hunting. Besides, we make one of your favorite meals."

"Well.... thank you."

"De Nada" they assure her.

The favorite meal includes a hamburger cooked like her dad does it, or at least the ladies tried really hard and it's sweet of them to have done it

Mind you, being boggans, they probably touched it up juuust a bit

She can hear them gossiping as they talk. Apparently it's possible that Mitra woke up with Sir Jack.. again. "That woman acts like she's above romance but she is attracted to men she thinks hurt her social standing." "Oh poo on her social standing" of course they are GIDDY with memories of the elopment on one level, but also irked they didn't have time to make a proper cake for Constance. Then there was the Shadow Prince who visited ... very mysterious

Jess chews, and steadfastly ignores the feeling in the pit of her stomach.

"I mean THIS month, now that's it's november." She says

"Of course. Let Diego know what dates you want and he should give it to you."

"Well I know you'll be visiting your folks thanksgiving" She says

Maria huffs "We can be quite fine with Jessica AND you and your amor all out on THanksgiving if need be, Scribe"
