Can a fire shrug?

It can certainly ripple.

"I'm going to have to apply -Tweak's- methodology. I'm sure Ellie will take good care of you." dryly as she stands.

The flame gives her a warm pat as she rises

She goes back to her rooms, and puts the regalia on -again-.

She feels vaguely silly but less so than before

She includes the cloak this time, settling it on her shoulders.

She can feel it's power

"Welp... let's figure this out." She touches it with a bit of her own Glamour.

It flares, and she goes limp as her body collapses on the floor out cold

But her spirit flies on wings of a dream...

She's flying. Her soul... her sense of self, rises up and she looks down on her county with eyes sharper than any hawks, and capable of seeing through the dark better than any owl

There is a window in her room that shows the beach, and allows the smell of salt-air to enter. She seeks that escape.

And she is over the sea! Just like that..

She turns and heads inland, testing these new wings.

it's different from when she was elderformed, she wonders if she's even visible to others

Perhaps yes, perhaps no, but she's not as worried about that now.... what does she see?

Fighting in the waves!

A handsome Mer warrior stabs with a trident, against another foe...that foe some kind of Nunehi who seems to trail blood as he swims. They have sea nunenhi? Of course they do

She thinks Tidemarch was right. but continues inlands.

So it seems... the Mer are also fighting Nunehi, or... the Nunehi are fighting them! Soon she's inland...

And can look at whatever she wants...

Before she leaves the beach behind, she wheels again and looks... mainland Nunehi or her own, local?

A good check. She sees ritual scarring .... mainlanders!

Good to know. She heads in to see if she can spot mainlanders in her county.

and she's a spy.. on land she doesn't see any but....

All seems peaceful... though as she flies by Skyhook she hears sounds of tinkering and whirly sounds

She steers clear of Skyhook; no desire to be taken out by friendly fire, if you can call it that.

Her people on the streets are tense. Gossip is starting to spread... of the attack on Coy

Some grumble "Damn Nunehi can't be trusted!"

others however "Thank goodness for the GOOD Nunehi..."

She glides and soars, listening and learning, on the alert for threats....

Her people are scared, and angry. And not enough are remembering that Otem's people helped save livees, though some do. That will need to be stressed.

And yet, she is also so proud of how some are trusting her even when others doubt

She looks for a friendly.... or at least a non-hostile/non-combatant? She will fly lower, see if she is visible.

Apparently, she's not... maybe if she concentrates

She'll give it a go, prepared to sling-shot herself back to her room and her body.

She explores some more.

It takes willpower to be visible, she fades out again... she gets a look at the Pit's area. She can find many spying, but they appear to be on her side, or at least Mitra's

Eiluned.... but it is a thought with fondness.

Indeed, while the Pitt is full of warriors in the hold, the barony itself has sluagh lurking in shadowed alleys and boggans more openly out hiding in plain sight. And yes, Baja Nunnehi ... her allies, helping too
