"Why not ask Maria or Rosa or someone to fix it?" Jess asks as they walk.

"Because I don't like relying on boggans for everything. " She admits 'Nothing against boggans, but I feel embarrased at my lack of skills at time. Thank goodness you have both of them by the way, just one would be overwhelmed by now, but together they balance it all like a duet"

"Oh, I'm very conscious of how lucky I am to have them."

"I know, but call it sidhe pride, I would like to think I don't have to go to them for all domestic needs. When Vali was my Squire, I made him learn how to do the basics"

They come upon Ariel

"It's served him well. Hello, Ariel."

Ariel sees Jessica and looks embarrassed, "Are you angry with me, Miss Jessica?"

She digs a hoof into the flor "Because I was.. kinda bratty"

"No, I'm not angry with you. Are you angry with me?"

"Not anymore, and I'm sorry I was. I just, Coy's nice but he's my only family here, and I still feel guilty about Great Aunt Agnes" A breath "But Salma tried to tell me stuff and I didn't understand, and then later Ellie said you were just looking out for us like a good leader. I know that too much time on video games means I'd miss chances for the sun and playing outside and I LLIKE the sun and the sky.. oh and the sea! So I shouldn't have yelled"

"Ariel, I'd never take away a present you've recieved. They are yours. Would you like to visit the FarmHold?"

"I don't know" She admits

"I can call Clem, see if Selma and Holger might go with you? You could ask Ellie if she wants to go."

"I don't know, I don't bully anybody"

"I... didn't say you did." Jessica looks and sounds confused.

"Yeah but Ellie' might think I was" THe girl says "I don't know"

Jess nods. "It's a tough call. It's ok, I think, for friends to enjoy doing different things sometimes. Even to enjoy things their other friends don't. And, the DeBukes are your family. Gotta respect keeping your family close."

"But you only see your family like twice a year" She says "And you don't even call your dad much"

Ash says "Firstly, Jessica is a private person. She doesn't call where others hear it, or text much in public, Ariel. So we don't know"

She nods. "I'm a little older so it's kind of different for me."

"And yes, secondly, you're a childling. Being the center of a family is part of your life" She says

Jess smiles.

"Oh well, yes, we ARE pretty specail" Ariel says "I .. I would like to see my brother. Charles?"

"I can call Clem right now if you like." she offers.

"Please?" She asks

"Sure. I'll be right back." and Jess steps out to make the call.

Clem isn't there, but it does get picked up by the new Hearth "Kourtney DeBuke answering. Who's this?"

"Jess King. Is Clem there?" she asks, not knowing Clem's not present.

"No I'm afraid not, Chief's out town haggling for best prices at a farmer's market. I'm Hearth, can I be of help to you?"

"Dang. Yes, I was wondering if Charles DeBuke might be free to come visit Ariel here in Renaissance as my guest."

"Is she hurt? " A worried look "Do we need to get her dross? "

Then a pause "Oh, a guest? That's... pardon me, is Ariel al right?"

"Yes, she's just fine. Never better.... but it might be she misses her family."

"I'll order Charles there then" She says "It sounds a bit more than typical how you doings"

"Could you extend our invitation to him?" she words it to be clear -she- isn't ordering anyone.

"Oh your invitation, MY orders. He needs to see her more often" A smile "Let me have this, Jessica. I hardly get to bully anyone into a mission"

"You are Hearth." but her doubt is in her voice "I look forwarda to meeting him."

"Don't worry, I'm sure he'll want to go. Tell Ariel he'll be on his way in the next few hours and that we ALL love her very much, please?"
