"Someone needs to know! The gulf stream path - it just... fizzled! Anyone trying to follow that current will get dropped who knows where? Not everyone will have as blessed a landing, others may be dropped in the middle of the ocean, or inland, or... throw into the dreaming?"

"Where am I, anyways? I do not know of a Renaissance in White SAnds, though perhaps in The Fiefs of Bright Paradise?"

"Feathered Serpent."

A puzzled look.

She takes a deep breath. "Ok. I'll go make some phone calls, see if I can get some answers."

"Am I in Mexico, or the states, or the keys... can you tell me that much?"

He has a bit of a puppydog look to him, in his confusion.

"Mexico, Tijuana" Fontaine smiles "it's a high murder rate city"

"You're in Mexico. Yes. Tijuana. And you'll be perfectly safe if you wish to stay here; we observe hospitality here."

"But... I was on the other side of the..." A sigh. "Thank you. I think I might need to sit down for a few minutes."

Fontaine guides him to a place he can sit but keep his feet in the pool

"I'll make those calls."

And she steps away to call Rivervale, looking for Olgar or Kerri, or her folks.

olgar (this is still before he left) picks up and answers "Yeah?"

"Uncle Olgar, it's Jess."

"Hey Jess... bit busy here, you heard about the wilows situation yet?"_

"Does it have to do with Trods and Raths failing?"

"Yup"

"Check with Vali? If he hasn't talk to you yet, Dame Ash here in Renaissance said she talked with him and some visions made sense in hindsight but it's not bad to get the information. I have a selkie here that dropped out of the sky on me. He's ok, but he's reporting Trod and current disturbances too. I don't understand about half of what he was saying but...."

"Will do" he says and fills her in back

"Ok." after hearing about it "Definitely talk to Vali. Do you want me to see if I can get this selkie to you for more information?"

"_I'm likely be hip deep in the dreaming for a bit... but call here and maybe your dad will take notes and pass them on to me between his patrols"

"Can do. In fact, I can get the notes from him sooner than that, figure out how to get them up to you all."

"I will."

"I'll make sure at least a few rovers check your area out just to be sure, but it's not a priority compared to willows. Sorry, Jess"

"No, I get it. It's ok. Thanks for the info, we'll send what we've got. Let me know if we can help."

Jessica hits the button and goes to see if Constance is available.

And Constance is

Jess asks her to go take notes from the selkie. She, herself, is going to go talk to any Nunnehi in the area. If they will talk to her, that is.
