"i believe I should attempt it" He says "We'll see what I can recover... but rushed jobs are often sloppy"

"oh on the contray , it's the young we must preserve" He says "Ellie has learned to read by Braille, and improved in more traditional reading vastly. Now Ariel appears to be in danger. well, we can't have that"

"All the girls, and the childlings in general, have guards. But I take your meaning. In that same vein, Ellie would be shattered if she lost you."

He slips out to get to work

Jess heads out to talk to a nun.

Father V greets her "Jessica, how fare you my child?"

"Hello, Father. Thank you for seeing me. Things are going well for me; you?"

"The people are always in need but we make a difference for the better. That's a blessing" He admits

"It is." seriously "I'm trying to get some information. Is your partner here? Sister.....?"

"Ah, she's not in I fear"

"No?" a faint frown "Do you know where I could find her?"

"I am afraid not" He says "Sluagh are often private souls so I try to indulge her when she feels the pull of solitiude '

Jess sighs; frustrated but not blaming. "Ok. Please let her know as soon as you can that I have spoken with Mr. Viggo and would like to speak with her as soon as possible."

"Ah, so sluagh are needed?"

She nods.

"we boggans might be able to help as well... but I imagine this goes beyond standard gossip?"

"Is there much about Chupacabra?"

"Gossip? Oh yes. the threats of them to the satyrs are distressing"

She nods. "I've heard that."

"Of course, I can't claim to match sluagh for eyes on sight matters, but I can tell you some of my followers are worried about 'wild ones' in the woods. 'Old pagans' they call them"

"Old pagans? Natives?"

"Just so "

"Can you elaborate?"

"Sightings of Natives, very little European blood in them, in certain grounds outside the city"

"You wouldn't know if they were from the more friendly local tribes, or mainland?"

"Mainland I hear.. .different feathers." He explains where the members of his flock ran into them

"Do you think I could speak to these followers?"

"It was not under the seal of the confessional, so I suppose that is no trouble. Give me a few minutes I'll gather an adress for one or two of them?"

"Thank you."

He withdraws to go get that information

And returns with a sheet of paper

"Thank you, Father."

"A small list I'm afraid"

"Everything can help. Anything I need to know about approaching these folks?"

"Be kind"

She blinks. "Have you had word I am not?"

"No, but kindness is the best way to approach them"

She nods. "I understand." she looks the list over.
