She frowns "So... where these Natives or Nunnehi?"

"I suspect the latter"

"But you weren't there, you heard it from these sons of Adam?"

"Just so"

"Ok. I guess it's still a good idea to talk to them."

"I am sorry, Jessica. Sons of Adam and daughters of eve are my house's concern"

"Believe me, Father, I know and respect that."

"I suppose better than most" He nods "I hope your father prospers"

"He does, last I heard. Ok. Thank you, Father I should go find these folks. Please tell Sister I'd very much like to talk to her as soon as possible."

"I shall make sure a note awaits her saying just that"

Jess nods, and heads away towards the first address on the list.

Outside the city proper, a bit more rural and yes, a place one could raise goats. Hernando Loso is the first on the list

She seeks him out.

the farm is small, and there's a dog that barks at her.

And a man comes out, a nervous look, which turns from nervousness to confusion "hola?"

"Hola!" she responds, and continues in Spanish "Senior Loso? I'm Jessica King, Father V said I could stop by and speak with you."

"Father V? Oh please, come in, come in. Any friend of the padre's is a friend of mine" he motions her to join him "My wife can make us something"

"Thank you." She ducks entering the home.

Senoir Losa's house is well, homey, and he announces to his wife they have a guest "A friend of the padre's... Senorita Jessica"

"Si? Oh please, Jessica, have a seat... " The woman says "I am Dulce"

"A pleasure to meet you both." she sits "Senior Loso, may I ask you about something Father V told me?"

"If the Father sent you to me, then I should help you if you need it. If i can"

"Thank you. You saw some... um, natives in the area?"

"Oh, well, the old blood is stronger in some than others, true, but yes, there were some who worried me. Not the color of their skin, but the way they acted. They way they looked at me. As if they would lay me on a rock and cut me open if i angered them"

She nods. "Will you tell me of them? What did they look like, and where they came from and then went to?"

"As best I can remember, yes" He motions to his wife "darling, may we have some-"

She comes out with some meat and bread and coffee for all

"Gracias."

She takes a little and sips a little but out of politeness.

"De Nada" She says joining them

And Senoir Losa tells her of the figures... of the aztec tattoos, and the odd language the men spoke that was not Spanish

"Did you see where they came from, or where they went? The direction?"

"Roughly,yes. THey went into the city... and.. it was if they chasing something. But I didn't see it"

Jessica nods. "Who knows?"

"It was errie is what it was" His wife says 'what you said, like they had a demon on a leash"
