It looks like things were well organized records wise, and somethings settled well. Looks like a few small problems rose up but were put down by Ellie and those supporting her. Other situations include a surprise birthday party for Maria coming next week , rumors of an unhatched Eshu from Spain spotted on the edge of the city, butterfly chimera that glow like lit candles spotted and prized, and young Vaeltilde (Heir of Tidemarch) trying to help clean up litter on the shores with other childlings help as a gesture of good will towards the Mer

She looks more closely at the Spanish Eshu and makes a note to send Vaeltilde (and Tidemarch) a token of thanks for her efforts.

She drinks a sip.

"You're welcome" Nancy says "Any orders regarding the notes that require a social touch? "

"I'd like to send Vaeltilde a little something to say thank you for her clean up efforts in consideration of the Mer; include something for Baron Tidemarch, too. Can you tell me more about Maria's party?"

"Oh, well, Rosa , who you know is closest to her, thinks a surprise party would be ideal. You know how Maria is, she always waves off a fuss about herself but still gets pleased when folks show they care. We were thinking of catering it, someone else cooking for her and finding an excuse to close the kitchen... but details are still in motion. Gifts should be simple but nice. I bought a few if you didn't have time to shop you can give her on your behalf. One is a really stylish nightgown"

"I'd like to get her something. Thank you for the offer, though; you have excellent taste, I'm sure she'll be thrilled."

"THanks. I hope so. She's always looked out for us" And Nancy nods "I'll leave you to your work if there's no project you have for me"

"Just those. I'd like to choose the gift to Vaeltilde from what you find for her, please?"

"Of course" A smile "Though Ellie might have some good suggestions" She bobs her head

Jessica sets down the mug and nods. "Thank you."

"Welcome" And off she trots

Constance looks over, then nods "She's been working hard while you were small"

"I take it everyone had to pitch in a little more."

She ponders then says "I think we proved we can fill the void when needed but I won't lie and deny without you it was harder. Don't let that keep you from the infrequent periods of rest every person needs now and then. We all need breaks nwo and then"

"Well, I've had mine." Firmly. "Can you help find this Chrysalid?" she offers her notes on the Eshu-to-be.

"I can. " She says "Nancy might be better. Satyrs can catch most joggers but first we need to find him" She looks it over "Your jogging trail on the cliffs? "

She nods. "That's where I saw him and I'm sure he's there on the regular but he doesn't -sleep- there. We should keep all-eyes open."

"Mmm I keep records but not so much of visiting tourists. I'll see if Rosa and Maria have heard anything on the gossip chain about a Spanaird into jogging?"

She nods. "Good idea."

She rises "I'll do so now. Welcome back to maturity, Jessica. " A slight smile

"Thank you. Good to be back."

And off the Scribe goes

Jessica lets the coffee cool and regards the notes for a few minutes more.

Then she rises and goes to gear up for patrol.

Which she just came from, but heck, she IS still young and healthy, with less gangly kneecaps
