A few conversations between families and couples ,and slowly, slowly, the idea gets the support and funding it needs. Will it work? Or will it fall on it's face and ruin some folks hopes? Hard to say

And the meeting starts to close, the town hall done...for tonight

Jess slips quietly to wait, as was arranged, for Diego and Constance (who has the notes).

Constance shows up first, "Would you like the records now or should i take them with me to the study?"

"Let me take a quick look?"

"Of course" She hands it over for her purusual

Jess scans quickly.

That's when there's a gasp and collection of cries from outside the street

She looks up and over..... offering the records back to Constance as she does.

"Let me check on that...." she heads out.

"Get back!" A voice is yelling above the crowd, and above is meant quite literally. A golden haired satyress in swashbuckler gear is leaping from one roof to another, carrying something that looks like a dark metal ball with a fuse blazing . She is trying to climb up and get distance from most people as she clambers onto the top of a belltower.

"It's La Cernicala!" someone in the crowd calls out

Jessica remembers something about Siv saying she had one more performance to put La Cernicala to rest

She notes this, and goes back inside to get the notes and finish scanning them. Is Diego there yet?

Diego is in the crowd gawking at the show "That looks like a bomb"

Seeing Jessica going inside, he follows "Jessica... that looked like a bomb"

"Did it?"

"Well, yes. Why aren't you alarmed?" He says surprised

She hears a hissing pop sound from the coat rack of the building they rented for the town hall

"I'm sure she's got it under control." Jessica says, then looks from the notes over to the sound.

a pop hiss... wait, is that a sparkle and a bit of smoke?

"Come on, let's move along....." Jess leads Constance and Diego (the only ones there?) away, perhaps out the back way.

That does appear to be a bomb. She pulls Diego and Constance away (The only ones here besides her) ...then...It...makes a shuddering boom noise... and... that's it. No actual damage, not even Chimerical

"What the hell was that?" Constance turns as the spot behing them 'blew up' only didn't

A shrug. "Who knows? Good notes, Constance. Diego, thanks for stepping up on the tequilla idea. This was a really good session, I feel like there's a lot to think about. And do."

"I suppose" Diego says "Gracias, i know dwarves are stoic, but you seem awfully calm. "

"The bomb was fake" Constance says "Though .. I admit I am not as unfazed as Jessica"

"Yes, but what about the OTHER Bomb?" Diego says as they head out to the street

"What other..." Constance looks up to see La Cernicala. The 'satyress' has grown wings from her back, and is flying up, the bomb sizzling

"...bomb" She adds

"Oh." Jess glances up, and back to her notes "Looks like she has it under control. Diego, I want us to have a sit-down after you have a change to look these over. Coordinate our efforts."

La Cernicala shakes her hand, the bomb isn't coming loose. It's stuck?

And she calls down in Spanish "Everyone below, scatter! Follow Flame free to safety!"

the crowds start to move towards Jessica in confusion

Jess hands the documents back to Constance for safe keeping and dutifully leads the crowd away. "Come with me! Stay safe, everyone, no running....."

Jess ushers the crowd to a safe space/distance.

And there's an explosion and a scream in the sky

then..nothing

Jess's first duty has to be making sure people stay safe; so she does that and delegates a bit to Diego, Constance, and others she knows and trusts to dissipate the crowd and make sure they get away safely. Then she'll go back and look.

She looks and ... hears a groan on a ledge. A familar one. Siv? Blood drips down the wall of the buildling

Jess looks for a way up; while she could probably climb, it might cause comment; there's a stair well inside, perhaps?

Oh most assuredly. There's also a fire escape though she'd have to hop up to the ladder. Not hard to reach with a hop thanks to her height

Up she goes, then.

And finds her sister, wounded badly. One hand has fingers so twisted it's amazing they didn't come off, burn marks are along her right side from lower thigh to cheekbone. Great rends in her flesh. She bleeds freely still. Purely Chimerical

But, of course, if she 'dies' Winter will claim a part of her, even after she recovers from the coma

"Shit, Siv." Jess mutters before using her phone to call Fenix for help and then doing what she can to stop the bleeding and treat the wounds. She'll offer her own Glamour as well, in the gift of a kiss to Siv's forehead.

Siv groans "Sis? I'm sorry" She slurs "Real bomb.. possed to be fake... any.. any innocents hurrr?"
