"Sir Buce, will you ask either Phobos or Demos to join us? And Bevara?"

Jess very firmly does NOT attempt to catch up or keep up with their guest; he can keep up with her when she's ready.

"Of course, one serves to live" He bows and trots off

Well, Iago keeps going if not detained

"My Lord Iago, wait just a moment. Please."

A pause "As you insist, Countess"

"I do."

So they wait, and soon have an escort.

Buce and Phobos, annd Dame Bevara show up

And off they go.... Sir Iago given a place in the middle, for protection. He IS walking Tijuana streets in a bathrobe, after all.

Morttified, they soon get to the Sunkissed barony

A thane in Varich colors, a troll, bows to see the Countess

"Hello, Hernando." she greets him.

"Comtessa" He bows "Sir" To Iago "How may I serve?"

"Is the Baron available?"

"Of..course, for you, Countess. I'll escort yo uall there now"

"Thank you. Sir Iago, you'll join us?" Not -really- a question....

"Of..course" They all go and soon, are meeting the Baron Tidemarch in a parlor

"Baron, hello. I'm sorry for dropping by."

"I am surprised, but it is nothing to apologize for if you forgive our state of unnrreadinness. I'll order a meal made"

"No need. I just wanted to see Sir Iago made it home safely." She gestures to Iago. In a bathrobe.

"Sir Iago, how did this state of undress occur?" Tidemarch inquires

"La Cernícala." the man answers "She is a plague, my baron"

"What can you tell me about this person?" with a glance at Bevara; hopefully, she's listening.

"Apparently a champion of the poor, a satyress by reports," Tidemarch says, and looks to Iago

"It is so, my lord... a twisted daughter of pan! She strikes without consideration of MY side of the story" Iago says

"I'm glad you brought that up, Sir Iago. Please, I would like to hear your side of the story."

"I was merely sampling which dreamers I might be patron of. " he says

Bevera raises a brow

Jessica sees this, and just looks at him.

"More detail" the baron says

"I..confess, the simpliest way to get dreamers is to let the poorer kith try to act as..bird dogs for them. They flush them out, but the Dreamers are better in my care. I can... provide" He says "SOME peasants were ired by this"

Jessica looks at Tidemarch to see what he thinks of that.

"Countess, technically, he has done nothing illegal by the law as I know it, but I suspect you disagree?"

"I dislike what he has done, true. I suppose an argument could be made, but I also dislike arguments like that. It seems divisive. What I find most offensive, my Lord, is the attitude that there are any in this county who should be thought of as peasants." she says frankly.

"Ah, alas, I cannot stop his thoughts. I CAN demand he refer to his fellow citizens, regardless of title or lack of same, more polittely," The Varich says looking at Iago "Dragons are said to be politically savvy. Draw on that, Sir knight"

"Of..course" Iago says

"Thank you. And thank -you-, Sir Iago. You've given me much to think about. I don't mind saying, I hope to have more formed thoughts and policies ready shortly, now that I see this is something that must be addressed."

Iago winces "We aim to please"

"I see," Tidemarch nods "Countess, would it be safe to assume I should spread word that ..pinching others dreamers was frrowned upon?"

"Yes, thank you. Also, if this Cernícala is sighted or captured, she's under my protection. I want to know what she's doing what she's doing."

"As you direct" Tidemarch says "No harm will come to her after capture. Now, dinner is ready.. please, my staff will be insulted if I withdraw their repast now"

And so, Jessica and Bevera and Buce and Phobos are treated to a rather nice meal

"Baron." Jess says very carefully "No harm will come to her." correcting "If someone is defending themselves... that I can understand. But I want to be clear; I expect La Cernícala to come to me fit and well."

"Ah, it will be so" A nod..oh look, a tuna dish
