"Unless you have other messages or orders for me? And, if you can make dyslexic correctting gglasses for her? I would pay"

"Shit, I ain' made these. They come to me when I aged up." An affectionate tap on the frames holding the lenses. "These be Dreamin' Specials."

"Ah, blast. A good find there. Well, any requests or messaes for me to pass on besides what you've already said?"

A shrug. "She wanna see these boom-sticks we comin' up with fer war, she better get her ass over here. They ain' gonna get outta prototype stage if there be no market."

"I'll let her know" She bows

Tweak waits a few minutes, then tells her assistant she's heading out for a couple of hours.

Ash probably got here by travelling in style. Tweak, however, fires up The Beast, her beloved old van, and chugs her way across town and into Jessica's territory...and when she gets there, she parks in an alley close to Duff's tattoo parlor, slapping a Veiled Eyes on the vehicle just in case.

And so far? So good

She may be a baroness (ha!) and an old hag (as opposed to a young hag) now, but she's still a child of the streets. This is a neighborhood she understands and fits in. She scuffs down the block and checks out the store to see if it's open.

So she goes in, sneering at the little jingling bell over the door. "Fuckin' cheery-ass thing," she mutters.

"Helps me hear," Duff looks rough, stubble on his face a bit too long

"Hell, just stop oilin' the fuckin' hinges. You'll hear 'em." She gives him the once over. "You look like shit."

"Mother hood has sweetened your disposition, I ever say that?"

"Bite me." She sets her ass in a chair. "Talk to me 'bout dragons, Needles."

"Dragons? I can do numerous styles, Asian, Western.. more heraldric, or cartoonish"

"Yeah? How 'bout purple ones, go by th' name of Twilight somepin-somepin?"

At that, he stiffens "Where did you hear about that?"

A smirk. "You tell me what you know, I tell you where I heard."

"She's not fond of me. We had a quarrel"

A dissatisfied look. "In exchange for that crap amount of info, I tell you I heard about it from somebody local. Gimme more."

"I DO have my own sources" he poinnts out

"Yeah, an' I be tryin' to help you keep yer name off of a certain Countess's radar, so you might wanna spill."

"She wants nothin to do with me annymore" a grumble

"So if she hear somepin' she don't like, she gonna be pissed." She snorts at him. "Man, pull on yer big-girl panties and get it together. Whatchoo done to the dragon?"

"I had a hand in the death of her mate, not intentionnal"

"Not intentional? Yeahhhh...don't sound like she care 'bout that. From what I hear, Purple Girl be lookin' to take revenge on you. An' I willin' to bet she happy to burn this part of Tijuana to the ground to get it."

"Then I guess I best go dragon hunting" He sighs "What more can you tell me?"

"I got the dirk second-hand. Seems like she done showed up, perched at the edge of my lands, looking into these lands. Said she was looking to get revenge on somebody who be like a spider in a web...which 'course got me thinking a different direction until I hear she ain' lookin' in Skyhook at all. My next thought be you. Kinda surprised B ain' figured it, yet."

"Hopefully she won't" He scowls "Thank you. Damnn. I hate killing a dragon"

A shrug. "Sound like you got a lack of imagination, then."

"You have a better idea?" A BROW

"Jus' sayin'...there somepin' to be done, but you don't wanna do it, you find another fuckin' way. Anythin' less be lazy ass work."

"Well, I could leave the city.. she'd be safe then I suppose" Dryly

She rolls her eyes. "Will you fuckin' get over yourself? Handle yer shit, and get on with things. B don' owe you nothin', an' you a big boy what c'n deal with a fuckin' disappoinment. Or maybe you ain'. Maybe you jus' a little bitch."

He stands and LOOMS over her "You shouldn't confuse troll calm with a liescence to provoke"

She stands up and looks up at him. "I ain' confusin' shit. You gots a job t' do. Man up."

"Fine" A thought "What does you hold have in the way of ...fire protectionn?"

A slow grin. "Oh, I dunno, you think a place what specializes in aerospace technology might have some experience in keepin' peeps from turnin' into crispy critters on re-entry?"

"C'mon...we head back to Skyhook, an' we suit you up proper."

"thank you, I'll veil us on the way there" he offers ready to follow, flipping the sign to closed
