"Ok, that's a no, then." she answers her own question.

"I'll pick those up too" Olgar offers "We got spares"

Fawn smiles "Why Olgar, I do believe you're a softie"

"I had a little girl of my own, grown up now, but they create mushy spots if they don't find it" He shrugs

Olgar takes the beer and real tamales "thanks, Jess"

"Welcome."

Jess glances to see that all have some refreshment, and then gets her own.

And takes a seat.

Ramona and Aria have found their way to the kitchen. The latter, a well-behaved lady, is rubbing her face on the satyress' hock. The tabby, however....

"Fawn, I hope you're settling in?"

Ariel pets Aria. The bogggans sigh. Telling the childlings NOT to pet the animals at the table is a lost cause

"Oh I've been given a tour. Apparently I'm suppose to yell 'Pants' at the spa?"

Jessica clears her throat; a sign of amusement?

Up a stool, to the counter, to the fridge-top and... THWUMP, Ramona lands on Fawn's back!

She promptly sits down and licks her toes.

Fawn blinks "Is there a...cat on my back?"

"There's a local water-spirit in the hot springs here. You don't -have- to give him warning but if you don't, you might find him more of a state of nature than not."

"Yes, there is. A small one. Shall I move her?"

"No, but if she starts making biscuits with claws, I may buck"

"Water spirit?" She beams

"Fontaine!"

"Ramona, you are being naughty."

Ramona ignores her. Cats are all queens, and do not answer to mere countesses.

"If she's a bother, we'll move her." Jess assures. "And yes, the water spirit's name is Fontaine."

"Prrrrrrit!" Ramona trills.

"Don't worry, I know how to get cats to leave a room, it's a gift " Fawn smiles

"Annd I think I'd like to meet Fontaine" She adds "With pants on"

"good addendum" Olgar smirks

"When we're finished lunch?" Jessica suggests.

"Oh yes, thank you, these tamales are wonderful" Fawn says

Jess nods thanks to Maria and Rosa.

the boggans preen "You will not hunger here, Senora Fawn"

Fawn bites her tamale "I'm not married"

"You're not?" Both boggans exchange a look. She might be a grump, but there's no reason Fawn should be without a man right? Jessica can see it on thier plotting helpful faces

And she sighs inwardly.

"Are your quarters to your liking? Anything we can do to help make you comfortable?"

"oh. I haven't seen my quarters yet, I'm sure they're fine" A smile to Ellie "Ellie wasn' told where I was staying so she didn't know to show me that one"

"Will she be off the courtyard?"

"I'm sure I'll be okay" Fawn says "All I need is a feeling that I can get out"

"Certainly; this is not a prison." Jessica says firmly. "Maria, Rosa, do you know where Fawn is quartered?"

"Si, and the room is big enough for a troll with a view outside" Assurace

"Excellent."

"Sounds lovely" She finishes her Tamales "Okay, Ramona... I need you to scoot now"

"Mroop." Surely, she doesn't!

"Okay. I hate to do this." Fawn puts her fingers to her lips, and lets loose a SHARP Whistle!

Cat ears rise up, they shake their heads, and bound away, offended as the whistle persists

and she stops "Sorry about that" Fawn smiles

Olgar blinks "I think I'm with the cats. I've heard monsters die that sounded more pleasant than that"

"Ouch." Jessica observes. "Um. Fawn, you might want to be cautious about using that."

"Ramona!" Ellie hops down, to chase after the cats.
