Jess keeps her eyes sharp as she walks.

Jack has annoying habit of taking to the rooftops which is fine if you're shaped like an elf

But Jessica more often has to take the low ground.

And squint upwards.

She sees the sidhe gives her a thumbs up, then points towards the small building across the street

She heads that way.

Jessica sneaks... nothing like a tall blonde woman in Mexico trying to stealth, but.. she does it. Time on hikes trying to to disturb the local wild life must have paid off.. She goes to the side of the small building and hunkers down just kneeling below a closed window

Jack is probably on the roof above

She looks for a good way up.

Jack 's hand gives a wait signal.. it's all she can see of him but she recognizes his gloves

So she waits.

And hears voices in spanish "What the hell was that?"

"I don't remember.. it seemed like a demon in man's form.."

"I shot him.. WE Shot him, he should be dead."

"Getting so a man can't be a man in this town"

"How's Juan?"

"He's got a hole in him but I couldn't find the bullet."

"And the bitch got away... no one does this to us man..we find that guy..."

They seem VERY angry at Jack even were spooked by him.

Jess looks up to see Jack, if she can.

Jack lights something, and throws it to her saying softly 'catch and throw it in there'

The smoke bomb sputters in Jessca's hand starting to, well, smoke

She lobs it!

Smoke really starts to gush, but fortunately it's all ready in the room when it does., Predictably, there's coughing, cursing and then desperate for air, three men come out

Jessica pulls back to allow them to exit, and to see what Jack's plan is.

They seem familiar, and then Jessica realizes they are enough like the chimerical monsters that they are definitely the inspiration for Kit's nightmares made flesh

Jack , Jack drops a lasso down on one, then slides down the rope raising that guy up "Get their guns"

Jessica wades in and if necessary uses her fists to subdue them enough to disarm them.

Troll strength, practice wrestling and pummeling... and the fact these three are caught off guard and have smoke in their eyes and lungs makes this a rather unfair fight

On the other hand: Rapists

Then they shouldn't get hit, or hurt, TOO much.

Soon, disarmed, all three are on their knees, and Jack is handcuffing each one.

Where he got the handcuffs, let alone multipe sets? Jessica doesn't know

..... and knows better than to ask.

Jessica sets the guns carefully aside.

Jack explains in Spanish to the men "You're going to the police"

They roll their eyes

"The border police" He explains "You will be found with some drugs on you, you know El Norte how they feel about smugglers of drugs? They're terrible hypocrites. THeir rich will snort cocaine of a hooker's back, but some foliks from south of the border get caught SMUGGLING It? Suddenly they get mad."

Now their eyes widen

Eyebrow.

And a very slight nod.

"And they don't get bought off as well" He has taken their wallets and they curse "Hey, one of you has a credit card. Gracious, you will be donating your entire bank account to a women's shelter here in Tijuana. Good man"

"Do you need a hand moving them?" Jessica asks quietly.

He whispers back "Actually " Now in English but still whispering "I wanted to make sure you were okay with this plan? Me I would be tempted to shoot each one in the knee cap but Father V disagrees with me on how rough Liams can be on mortals, even rapists. Prison time at least gives them a chance to consider their life though they might comne out worse just as likely as better."

"I am ok with it."

And that's how the plan goes down. The wounded one they deserted is treated a BIT more kindly, but not much. Jessica helps with not just the lifting, but the smuggling.

Not like she hasn't done it before....

Well, Jack ends up impressed

"Wow, you really know the best places to drop someone and run"

"Out of necessity." She assures him.
