Then Calandria blinks in confusion "What I meant to say was EVERYONE eventually turns into a fox"

"Salma is a pooka, too. And Tonto. And Sir Buce..." She looks for the horse-knight.

She covers her mouth

Buce says "Fear not, dear lady, Tis in our nature , we pooka to tell the truth.. times TEN. "

"It's okay. Esta bien. Pooka tongue."

Jessica nods. "You're a changeling; one of the Fae. As I said.... welcome."

"Will I get a funny hat?" She says trying to talk normal, her weirded out look shows it did not work, but she takes Buce's hand "Changelingg? Fae? Am.. am I the devil? I don't have the wardrobe"

"You're not a devil, no. We should get out of here, though. Are we all here, and whole?"

"We got wounds, but they seem minor" Demos says "But we're all good"

"Ok, then let's get back."

"No, la hada." She reassures.

Ellie takes Jessica AND Calandria's hands.

Jessica offers what she hopes is a reassuring smile to Calandria. "Will you come with us?"

Calandria seems to steady , as her hand is taken by the kind child and she is assured by the towering giant along with another pooka "Yes, let us fly there on lilac wings and bubbles"

"Pooka are nice, and you make a very pretty fox."

Jessica leads the odd group back to the abandoned hacienda.

"It's not real, it's Maybeline" She says as they all make their way back

"It's magic." She agrees.

And the hold engulfs them.. and Calandria gasps at the beauty of it

"Welcome to Fenix Freehold, in the County of Renaissance, Kingdom of the Feathered Serpent."

"Am I dead? If so, I must have been very good" Calandria says

"Sir Buce, can you arrange to find her a mentor?"

"Do you want some churros? Churros always make me feel better..."

Sir Buce nods "Neigh, Countess, we shall draw forth the wisdom of the Pooka Forum and select the best from the best with honor"

Salma trots over with a basket of treats. "Princesca? I was told there was trouble so I brought solutions...."

The smell of fresh fried pastry and rich cinnamon...

"Churros? Graciosus... those are good for my low blood pressure" The Fox earred woman says

"Salma! Look, a zorra!" Ellie beams. Her one shoulder is crudely bandaged, and some red blood is seeping through.

The basket is dropped! "Princesca! You are LEAKING!"

"Jessica bandaged it..."

"You need attention from a proper healer, and rest, Ellie."

"No, no." FUSS. "You will come and swim now." Firm order!

"There were monsters, but we beat them!"

"Or I will have to put my foot down! The monsters ruined your dress!" Clearly not what is upsetting her, but... pooka. "And that stain will set if we don't get cold water on it."

"Can la Zorra meet Fontaine, too?"

Calandria says "The girl should get finacial help"

"Oh!" Salma gives a quick cursey to the Fox lady. "Senorita!"

"You must come with us to carry the basket." Picking up the treat basket, she pushes it into Calandria's hands. "Come now." Ordersome young thing, she takes Ellie's hand and is already pulling her down that hallway.

"We rescued her!"

"Sir Jack might still be in the pool." Jessica reminds them.

Ellie doesn't fight Salma's fuss.

"Sir Jack will share." Salma says firmly!

Holger comes up "Countess Ellie? You got wounded without me?" Offended

"We had to go on a rescue, there was no time."
