Jessica finds herself Bevera's music soothing and seems to speed the paperwork

She caps her pen, and straightens with an exhale.

"Would you like dinner now, Conttessa?" Rosa says

"Dinner? A little early for that, isn't it?"

"True, but then, I think you tend to miss the lunch"

"Is it lunch already?"

"Lunch was two and a half hours ago." A brow

"Two....??" she checks the time. "Um."

"Oh. Ok, yes, I guess.... I should eat."

"It is considered to be quite fashioanble in some holds" A boggany brow

A chuff of amusement. "Ok. Lead the way."

And she is lead to the kitchen, as she prefers dining there at the corner table than the dining area

She takes her seat and digs in when served.

On the menu an open faced sandwich wiht thin slices of potatoes expertly seasoned

She appreciates it all the more because, as she discovers, she is hungry.

Ariel trots in and peeks

Jessica has had enough that she can slow down a bit, and notices the faun. She nods, swallows. "Hello, Ariel. Hungry?"

"No. I was worried you were SICK" She says concerned "I lived around a lot of trolls and I NEVER Heard of no trolls that skipped meals"

Jessica chuckle. "I'm sorry to worry you, Ariel. Sometimes I get wrapped up in things, forget to eat or sleep."

"Do I need to report to Clem? And tell her you have a parasite? She's a healer you know?And a lot more stubborn than Fontaine" Crossing arms

"It's not a parasite, Ariel." surely "Just preoccupation. Focus on duty."

"How can you do your duty if you don't eat your meals? "

She nods, swallowing another bite. "An excellent question. It's been brought up before."

"I could also get Mr. Duff. You listen to him.. "A beat "Sometimes"

"Sometimes." dryly.

Maria and Rosa both chuckle "more than others at least"

"More than -some-." she corrects.

"Yes, your excellency" "True, your excellency" Both bow to her in that annoying not as suberviant as they're pretending to be way but they'll humor her because they adore her way

Ariel giggles and gives Jessica a hug from the side "We just worry is all"

Jess wraps an arm around her shoulders. "Well, I'm sorry to be a concern. I haven't wasted away yet."

"GOod. Cus we LIKE you" A nod "You're a good chieftain" A beat "Um Countess..well both"

A small smile. "I don't know about being a good chieftain. I just do the best I can."

"I know more than one. You're doing fine. " SHe ponders "I would give you a B + at least. Maybe an A since you got some many folk in this city to care for" The satyr ponders "Yes, an A- in Chiefing"

"Well, thank you Ariel. That means a lot to me." seriously.

"You're welcome" She says and looks over at the boggans "Senoras, she will need dessert"

"She does not -need- dessert." a pause "Unless.... Ariel, will you join me?"

"If you'll eat some of the dessert yes" Ariel says "Do you want cake? Or ice cream?"

"Do we have tres leches?" she asks Rosa.

"We do" She says witth a smile

"Ariel?" gauging her interest.

"Por Favor!" She says hopeful

"Two big pieces, please, Rosa. Thank you."

And so it is served, Ariel's eyes widen for troll sized pieces are impressive

"You let me know if you need me to finish yours." Jessica offers.
