Jessica jogs with energy, enjoying the work out! She's been feeling energetic lately!

No indeed.. and her people seem happy, still a bit nervous about the Nunnehi that increasingly are seen in the city, but peaceful nunnehi you see are far better than attacking ones you do not.

Some wave at her, and wish her well. A few offer her drinks or food as she goes by

She waves off the offers with a thankful expression; she's running. And it's a patrol of sorts. She's on duty.

Long strides, a purpose, and a pretty nice day. Life is good.

And she hears an Eshu talking to a boggan

"You're imagining things" The boggan says

"I tell you, I was there" The Eshu protests "And I know what I saw"

Jess slows down, just a bit.

"Centaurs?" the boggan says "Not as Chimera? how would they exist?"

"they do..." the Eshu says

"But they'd feel forever out of their skin"

"And you know this how?" the Eshu challenges

"Besause they have FOUR LEGS, two arms"

And a little slower, to listen.

The boggan goes on "They'd feel worse than trolls.. nothing fits. Nothing seems right. How'd they get into cars"

"I don't worry about your triffles , so banal" The Eshu says "And it doesn't matter, because I SAW a centaur"

Jessica makes her way over.

The Eshu fellow is tall (not so tall as she) resplendtly dressed in robes of Moroccan silks and patterns.

The boggan a local she knows. though he doesn't work at any hold

The boggan says "You ssaw one, I don't doubt, but you're saying it had a mortal soul. That I doubt"

Jessica crosses to them.

The boggan sees her first and bows as no mortals are in sight (Or they'd not be talking so freely) The Eshu turns then says "is this her?"

"Yes," The boggan says.

And the Eshu also bows

"This is Jessica King." she admits.

"A pleasure, your excellency" the Eshu says

"Jessica is fine." she says "I heard you speak of a centaur?

"Yes, Jessica" The Eshu says "I know you may think me mad, but I did see one. My name is Driss by the way, I am not a legend, many of my brothers have traveled father, many of my sisters know and tell better stories, but I know what I saw"

"What -did- you see? And where?"

"I saw and kenned a centaur, a big fellow, yes, torso of a man, merged with a horse. It was Wyoming.. a place you expect horses, not centaurs."

"A male?"

"Wyoming...."

"Yes." He nods "Trust me, I definittely noticed he was male" Wryly

"Um. Ok. That's ... interesting. Any idea where he was headed?"

"He said he was looking for others like him" the Eshu says "Asked me if I had seen other centaurs. I said no..and he rode off with such speed I could not follow"

"Oh. Ok." Thinking.

"Thank you. I would be grateful to learn more."

"I would be honored to relate it." He bows "Should I go to your hold sometime later this week?"

"As soon as possible."

"Ah, " Driss says "I promised someone I would be having dinner with them tonight. Perahsp tomorrow? If you want my soonest"

"I will see you then."

"My honor" Driss says, bows, and withdraws

The boggan hurmphs "I worry he's taking advantage of you."

Jess looks at the boggan. "Will he come?"

"Oh definitely. Free food? Hott spas? He's heard of Fenix."

"Will you come and enjoy the same?"

"Oh I'm fine, Senorita" he says "Best to leave it to those who need it."
