Siv looks up, blinks, and begins to text

A scowl, then a suspicious look at Siv. "Yo! Who you broadcastin' our bizniz to?"

Jessica frowns as well. "You and Dad?" She asks Siv.

Siv looks up, "Trying to save your folks. I think they MIGHT be in Texas. I'm trying goet eyes there"

"Why Texas?"

"Because one Land Mark near Brightwinds is a Mountain named LION Mountain..."

Tweak scowls. "B, you wanna tell yer kid sis that she might wanna TELL a person afore she start spreadin' news of her VULNERABILITIES to people who be fuckin' unknown?"

Then, "What the fuck is BrightWinds? Who runs it?"

"I think she's texting Olgar, or my father, Tweak. Who are you texting, Siv?"

"Crazy me, following right of rescue" Siv mutters then says "Sparrow is the new baroness there and she's a GOOD Guy"

"Sparrow..... Lady Sparrow? With the wings? Liam?"

"She better be. If'n that message get intercepted by somebody what ain't such a good guy, we gonna have WORDS."

"Yes, and what a joy that will be" Fiona are unfazed

"Look," Tweak points a finger at Siv. "This 'good guy' sidhe of yours...she gonna say that th' price of rescuin' my people be that we forfeit the ship?"

"I can't speak for her, " Siv says "But I don't think she would. "

"Don't think so, huh? That's why maybe we don' get nobles we don' know involved from th' jump, right?" Tweak shakes her head. "You better be right 'bout her. Get the details to Spock over there," indicating the Dougal.

"My father mentored Lady Sparrow." Jessica says quietly.

"I said I couldn't speak for her, not that I didn't know her" Siv says then looks to the Dougal

A narrow look at Jessica. "Yeah? Mentored by Rigger?" She mulls that over a bit, then nods. It looks as though if she had a cigar, she'd be chewing on it.

Jess nods confirmation to Tweak.

That's when Spock says "We have contact.."

"Yeah? Talk to me..."

"Where are they?"

Frazzled radio, self sealing steambolts being used as weapons in the background "We got a redcap corby.. raiding and taking waht they want..we're trying to drive them off... but there's too many... They downed one of us.. . listen.. if I don't make it..."

"Siv, can you Flickerflash yet??"

"Dammit...Spock, get coordinates from Jolly Roger here and scramble whoever we got."

"Drones, get 'em going!"

"No." Siv hisses but she gives the latittude and longigitude

"Damn it, Tweak, do YOU have anyone who can flickerflash??"

"Don' you fuckin' give up yet, yah pansy-ass!" Tweak yells back, whether or not the other nocker can hear her, then turns to Siv, "What the closest trod there?"

"Do ya HEAR me sendin' my peeps out, B?! But for them t' flash, they gotta know where they goin'!"

"And Siv's the only one who's been there." Jess growls.

"Siv you took a trod, not the Kestral?"

"So you KINDA seein' my issue!"

"No clear path from here, gonna have to make some jumps" Siv stops "wait.. send the drones to the sky trod above... that should lead to one in firnost"

"The Kestrel is MOM's ship" Siv reminds and turns her orders "Get the trods out there, and they should fly outside the city to.." She gives instructions "Pardon.. wherea re these drones?"

"Spock, show her the stables." Probably not literal stables.

"Right" Siv moves off

And Spock has gone too..

And on the com , Tweak can hear "You heard the boss! No dying on the clock!"

"There's a trod to Firnost at Fenix. I'll go from there, bring others with me. We'll be in touch." And Jessica moves AT SPEED to Fenix.

"Intercom's workin'..." Tweak mutters, then calls out, "What you still got what's workin'?"

Then as Jessica goes, Tweak yells after her, "You better hurry yer ass!" in a tone that the troll might correctly interpret as gratitude, Tweak-style.

"Not a good time for a chat, Captaaz, ship's torn up! We're grounded. Navigation shot, Floatation shot! Engine's charged and good but cant' be directed!"

And the Countess makes it back to Fenix.

In very short order she marshals her troops and supplies, with more supplies to follow, and away they go!!!

"Aight, you listen...get close to th' engine, don' let 'em pick you off on th' perimeter! Good, defensible room, thick walls. You got reinforcements on th' way."

"C'n you set up a feedback loop, get a engine burp goin'? Last ditch defense. Risky, I know, but might just work."
