Step, step towards the painting - towards the wall the painting is on, and she listens to her footsteps, tapping on the adobo floors, then on Coy's rug, and now...

for a moment, even with eyes closed, it feels like some agricultural science major's attempt at a student film project...

"You're kidding me" He looks around "Where are the ones behind this?"

"Fenix, si!" She looks relieved, and holds out her basket, showing that Salma is armed... with cookies.

"Is this some kind of rip on Iowa?" Murray scowls at the pig.NOt that they know the name of the green tinged unseelie scowling

And underneath the cookies... meh!

"Why? They're... oh, they're gingerbread? But mexican? Maria makes them. Rosita makes the pink ones... uh... Polvorones."

"They're for trade, because it is important to offer something in exchange."

"Princesca... gatita-galleta?" She swallows and looks up at the... ogre? "Ramona is NOT for exchange. You will have to keep me instead if you insist. And, I eat a lot." She warns.

Salma gazes up at him, holding her basket of cookies clutched to her chest. An ear flops down over one eye.

"Hold the cookie, please." ANd she plunks it in the troll's hand before he can avoid it, in order to retrieve the tabby.

"Landsake, Murray," A woman's voice "They're childlings"

Murray is now holding a pig cookie

he looks tempted to chuck it, but instead looks back "We got a SIDHE Childling"

"Oh no, the entire farm is danger, batten down the hatches" The woman says overly dramatic, and they see she is not a kithian, but a kinian

"And a pooka, sir. Salma's a pooka."

But definitely troll blooded

"You have a friend visiting from a hold aliada. She blinks up at him, a bit owlish behind her glasses. "Fenix is your FRIEND." And she looks to Ellie. "I am?"
