A car pulls up, a bit of a junker by mortal view but large and roomy.. the guy in front peeks out , an Eshu, and he looks pretty damn tall and buff for an Eshu, arabian persian mix to his voile "To the beach right?"

"Yeah, thanks. Hey.... how'd you get this gig?" Adam gets the door for Piper.

"I mean, driving."

"Family ties" the Eshu grins "My Cousin Coy thought this would keep me out of trouble"

She climbs in as well and scootches up next to Adam. "This is my first time visiting. Any specific places we should check out? I'm just in for the Troubadour shindig at Fenix, but maybe can come back another time if there's a lot."

"Huh." Adam mulls this over.

There is plenty of room in the back seat, but even with leaning to the window to check out the sites, she has moved over so that her legs touch lightly against his.

"oh I can give you the usual tourist locations for mortals... " And he relates quite a few locations, warning which ones are just tourist traps and which ones are truly worth while. While he talks they drive.

Adam grins at her and puts a hand on her leg.

"Now for Changeling locations... well, you've been to Fenix, but there's Skyhook, which is like now a hold taking over by the Co-operative full of inventors...nockers mostly. It's actually up town, but now getting into dreams of space travel. They made astronaut helmets there in the day. La Capataz Tweak is holder and baroness there though she doesn't like the title. Then there is Lord Tidemarch, but that I do not suggest taking your friend to. Unseelie to the core now"

"But Unseelie isn't bad, right?"

"Of course not, but as a rule the Unseelie Code messes with mortals a lot more freely... or allows for it. To an unseelie, there's nothing in Right to Dream that really keeps them from enslaving you to say paint little cups ..and glamour being free... let's just say mortals aren't respected there much"

"Now beyond the holds? There are still other fae worthy locations... stumbled onto a few"

"Unseelie isn't necessarily bad, no. But... when leaning that way, we tend towards more... self-centered? Sometimes ruthless. My kith, we try to look at it like sunshine and moonlight. They're both lovely, but... very different. Day and night, two sides of a coin, neither wrong nor right, but... " A shrug. "I'd like to hear about those." to the driver.

There's a bedroom in her breasts, a study in her head, a kitchen in her stomach area...and ah, restrooms in her buttocks. It's a private residence, no one allowed in even though the artist moved to another house he still is said to work there." A smirk "Naturally, as it is forbidden to all.. most changelings get the urge to sneak in"

Adam's eyes light up with mischief and he shoots a glance at Piper.

"The Countess has not mentioned an official policy of this place. Some say that she is the only reason changelings haven't just bespelled the artist and taken it. SOME say, she sees it might oen day be yet another hold and is priming it, SOME say the statue is becoming alive... a Galatea! It certainly seems active for some chimera.... so many stories. But the artist IS protected."

"Of course, he would need to be." She nods, and grins back to Adam. "Now that does sound worth seeing..."

"Yeah....." wickedly.

"But, hey, beach first?" He offers.

"Beach first! Lay on, MacDuff!" She declares, then grins up at the driver. "Though, I would be surprised if your name actually was MacDuff..."

Adam strokes her leg, petting the fur.

"Caspian, Caspian DeBuke, nice to meet you" He says as they close on the beach

"Good to meet you too."

"You should come by the troubadour competition if you have time later. I could use a few more bodies in my cheering section." A grin to Caspian.

"Oh I'll probably be expected to cheer on my cousin Spencer. Though I do wish you good luck"

"I am turning off from the best known beach, the Playas De Tijuana... " the driver explains "it takes longer, but you'll like this one better"

As they pull up, Adam hops out and offers Caspian a hand to shake.

"Oh!" Delighted. "I didn't know Spencer was coming. Maybe we can do a duet, and you can cheer for us both."

"Yes, I'd like that. What are your names by the way? " Then as they continues every tourist stares at the wall...it was there long before cheeto head by the way... but the beach there is actually .. well meh" And as they drive away from the northern most beach, another comes into view, "This.. this is a better beach. Welcome to Playa Estero"

Somehow they have traveled several miles in an instant. Far from the City itself.

"Oh, shit, sorry. I'm Adam Thomas."

"...Crash of the Storm, protector of Rivervale, and Linnorm-bane." She adds, proud to include his accomplishments even if he is more modest. "And I'm Piper, also of Rivervale, but of no repute. Which is better than ill repute though, right?"

"Adam Thomas? The Kinian who slew the Lindnorm? Who did bring the gift of fae hood to those not of the blood? Adam the Insistent? Adam the Lucky? Adam Son of the Lion?" Then a smile at PIper "I do know you, Spencer mentioned you... quite a number with the passion fruit too"

"And can you believe they won't even share it around?" A chuckle. "They had an old auntie with a shotgun in front of it. Still, what's life without challenges?"

Caspian smirks "Try offering her whiskey"

Adam's jaw drops. "Yeah?"

"I mean, uh, thanks."

"Eshu, Adam...we travel, and we gather tales. " He looks back to offer a hand "Nice to meet you formall.. " And he pulls his hands back "Great Googly Mooglies! You're a sidhe... but not?? How..what? When? "

Her eyes widen. "You can feel it? How can you tell??"

"I can ken.. it marks him as a sleeping kithain... yet he's not .. I mean, after all the stories ..he's been IN a lodge"

Thoughtfully. "I wonder if.. maybe, somehow the wizard unlocked something. Not that he wanted to help you, but, maybe there was something else. That was all fucky-ducky and magic is WEIRD."

"Wizards, genies, all sorts of things, friend Eshu. Maybe Adam will give you all the info when we get through to the other side and you can make it into a story for the ages."

Adam swallows.

He seems a bit overcome. "You can tell?" He echos.

"Only with concentration... dude.. you're in danger of being possessed. I don't know how you're holding that guy at bay but.. is it a treasure? what' s the story?"

"I mean... she TOLD the story" A look at PIper "Kinda?"
