"I litterally have a door way I can stp through to get on a trod to Rivervale... it's that easy for one of them. As for Earth Runes, Siv will be happy to see the old crew"

"The old.... who's going to EarthRunes?"

"Me? to drop off your letter to her and your dad's letter.. just to do that. She's otherwise alone. Not sure why she's not visting you more"

"Mmph." One who is wise in the ways of the Kings will know that sound means they aren't going to talk about that.

"I see? Any chance The King I am with will explain?"

"Explain what?"

"Whatever it is not being talked about?"

Jessica shakes her head. "Not talking about it."

"Okay. I am but a humble gardener.. be back shortly.. see if I can get your sister to talk about it after all.. she's the King chatty one."

"Mm."

And Gerd smiles just a bit "Of course, now that I want her to talk, odds are she'll get contrary. Be back in an hour or two tops" And she heads off

Jessica sits back, and finally, eats her burger.

And... to be fair, it's nice to see Gerd again. She's grown. And yes, she's heard about Gerd's bitch year.

The idea of a group of wildersk, one her own heir, talking about how she doesn't understaNd 'anything' and so forth.. oh my. Battles with vampires are less alarming if she thinks about it from certain points of view

She sighs. Maybe I'll be dead by then.....

Sure enough later, Gerd returns "Hey, Sorry I took that long. You guys do have a DVD player somewhere here right?"

"Um. I don't know. If not, we can get one, I think. I have a TV in my apartment. Why?"

"I may have dropped off some dvds to the heir and her friends. Not a problem for me. I got them on streaming. Oh and a few dolls. MOre room for my tea sets and figurines"

"That's very kind of you, Gerd. Thank you. I'll be sure we set them up with something to watch on."

"Like I said, it cleared things out. " She shrugs
