"So anyways...I'm sayin', use th' kids as lure to draw out the mer-kids. Keep 'em safe, but let 'em make connections. I mean...shit, might could work with Nunnehi, too. They got kids, right?"

"Azlo." Jess describes the young boggan-type Nunnehi that attempted to count coup on her during Beltaine.

Azlo was an odd creature, Tweak is told. A childling, but with an old man face. He tried to count Coup on Jessica with a coup stick.

Narrowed eyes. "Just a stick, right? No blade? Just...tag-yer-it?"

Jessica nods.

"And I caught him before he could do that."

Which, it turned out, turned the tables it seemed

She smirks. "You counted coup on him, huh?"

She nods. "Seems so. I tagged him, and invited him to stay as a guest, and introduced him to John and Jeff but.... nothing really came of it."

"Yet."

"Cuz, yeah, what it been, a whole week?"

"What if we count coup on the Nunnehi?" Mitra says "Tweak, could you make a coup stick? I mean, it's got to be low tech but you know now something in that vein?"

The nocker gets a dry look.

Tweak blinks at Mitra. "Moony...it's a stick."

"Okay fine. fine. I just.. there must be some way to make this work for us" Mitra says

"_Ack-shully, though...Symond be yer girl for that, I think."

"She IS odd about native materials..mm"

And plans begin in that vein
