Sayda blinks, then looks around "I think the curtains are lovely here"

Jessica nods to Mitra in agreement.

"Oh, it's a beautiful hold... you should see the springs!"

"We can make that happen, Sayda. It should have happened before now. I apologize."

"Oh I've been here once before, but it was very rushed and only the once" Sayda assures

She nods. "And without a tour. We will do that today."

"I do tend to be focused on the current mission" Mitra apologizes, then looks to Taras, "Baron Tidemarch, a new ward of your own. She seems lovely"

"She is very...driven" He observes

"You can meet the kittens. We're not allowed to touch them yet, though."

And THAT does it. Vaeltilde says "You have KITTENS?" And suddenly she is a little girl entirely "Not allowed to touch them? Oh they must be VERY new!"

Sayda grins "I love the gattinas"

"A'ight, a'ight...what got up in Bluetooth's girdle this time?" Tweak swaggers in, all five-foot-nothing of her. "As if I got alla time in th' friggin' world..." she adds with a mutter.

"There are four, and they were just born yesterday..." There is a small gaggle of childling girls - two blonde sidhe, and Sayda from the pit.

What might catch Tweak by surprise is the gathering of kids

Mitra says "Ah, there she is, the poet laurette of Tijuana" She waves "Hello, Capataz."

"What th'...you runnin' a flippin' breedin' program now, B?"

"Yo, Moony. An' you know better that my name ain' no damn 'laurette'..."

Sayda says to the other girls "That's Twweak, she runs the co-operative in Albedo"

The purple-eyed kiddo looks at the nocker.

((Though pooka have a way of popping up when least expected...))

"Tha's me. An' I be wonderin'," she says, turning to the other barons, "jus' why I ain' back over there in Albedo right th' hell now."

Taras Tidemarch, Baron of the Sunkissed waves, says "Captaz, the Countess has her reasons. I suspect something to do with the young ones. How is Shuri?"

Tweak's expression softens into a maternal grin, the sort that has echoes of Beltane energy. "Well, she be at peak operation and totally up to specs. Got all her toys sorted out by machine type," she adds proudly.

"Impressive, at the risk of sounding like I am trying to curry favor, your child IS remarkably brighter than most her age" He concedes

"Ain't flattery if it true," Tweak says as she claims a seat. "So, what's this 'bout th' kids?"

"Hello, Tweak." Jessica looks. "You didn't bring her?"

"Well, I woulda if you'd said there be kids fer her to play with!" A humph. "She got all th' toys in th' world, but ain' nowhere near 'nuff playmates."

"How old is Shuri?"

"Be two next month, who askin'?"

"Countess Eleanour Hyacinth de Violette." Curtsy!

"I am Baroness Vaeltilde , though I Have not yet earned a deedname, I am of House Aesin. I shall bring glory and honor to the Sunkissed Waves" Says the other blonde sidhe childling

"Have the feeling that's going to change...." Muttered.

And she curtsy as well

Jessica waits for the introductions to be made, and then invites all to be seated. "Let's start this meeting, please."

"Huh." Tweak does not curtsy. "We suddenly a nobility magnet 'round here, Countess." A dubious eye at Jessica.

Eleanor Hyacinth de VIolette follows after Jessica.

"Come on, Tweak." She asks, as they sit.

"If she's not noble," Vaeltilde asks Baron Tidemarch "Why does the nocker have a hold?"

"Merit, good fortune, neither to be discounted" Tidemarch says "Now, shhh, listen."

Jessica clears her throat. "Does everyone have refreshment, if you would like some?"

"Mmph." Tweak gets herself a beer and takes a seat.

Tidemarch takes tea and finds a seat, Mitra gets wine

"So. Um. I wanted to let you all know, first, that I'm sorry if I have not been as present in your fiefs as perhaps I should have been. I have trusted that you will come to me if you need something, and that if I need I can turn to each, and all, of you. I hope I am not wrong in those assumptions. Is there anything I can do for any of you?"

"You need not answer now if you don't wish to; you can speak with me privately."

A smirk. "You bankrollin' a wish list, B? Could get pricey." She slurps.

Ellie studies Tweak with unvarnished curiosity.

"Feel free to submit a list, Tweak."

Tweak waggles her brows and grins toothily. "Will do, Santa."

Baron Tidemarch says "You can rely on Sunkissed Waves to support you, Countess. in fact, should you need me to extend my patrols beyond my borders to help the less experienced soldiers, but let me know"
