A thought strikes her. "When you're up to it, we'll take you to the Pit."

"The pit?" Jeff says "Why does that not sound uplifting?"

"It's a fine hold" Mitra says

Jessica nods. "It's the Ying to Fenix's healing Yang."

"Violence and I aren't freinds lately" the man says "Can I request a guard or something if I go out of this hold?"

"Absolutely."

"Thank you" he says

"We can send Demos.. he's even meaner than his brother"

Jessica nods. "If he's willing to go, yes."

A deep breath. "Ok. Can anyone thing of something we've missed?"

Mitra says "Only that we still need to pump more glamour into our new comer here... the banality on him is still thick enouogh that if he STEPS outside he might forget who he is"

"Jeff, will you stay here for the time being?"

"Gladly" He says "And.. can I have something to eat. I'm.. I'm starving"

Jessica nods. "Of course." She looks to Maria with a nod.

Maria says "We gonna take good care of you" And she yells something in Spanish to the kitchen

"Brace yourself." Jessica seems a bit amused. "But, the food is good."

"Brace myself?" Jeff says

"There's going to be a lot of it."

Mitra says "Boggans live for gauntlets like this" nodding

And soon, there's a smell of fantastic Baja cuisine... and.. popcorn ... with just the right amount of butter

Jessica nods. "Enjoy your meal, Jeff. We'll speak again soon."

"how come I get the feeling I may need to tag out after the first thirty minutes?" Then "Thank you"

And he is left to heal up and be fed

Meanwhile, a message has arrived from EarthRunes. After the standard salutations, it reads: "Countess, my protege for House Fiona, Captain Siv Waveborne, has reported to me regarding her insubordination of your authority during an incident on her recent visit to your County. While I applaud her actions, I nevertheless will issue the following consequence for her insubordination -- she is banned from visiting your lands for a month from this day. I expect I will be informed if she violates this ban." And concludes with the standard niceties, including an invitation to visit EarthRunes at her pleasure.

Jessica nearly takes this to Constance for a response..... then pauses, considering.

"Maybe.... I should do this one myself."

Somewhere, a glass of wine , finally chilled again, is ready to be had.

But, not by Jessica; just moves on to the next matter of her day; perhaps a moment with Dame Ash (who's not busy enough, obviously) to discuss the cold iron weapons.
