SOmehow the idea of a 'small meal' turns out to be sizable, and ...chosen to be energizing ... it actually goes great with coffee.

Jessica eats.... and finds herself hungry.

The beef was a nice touch, not too seasoned but enough, and very hearty.

And there's a knocking on the kitchen door. Jessica often prefers to eat in the kitchen ... more private. Less chance of it turning into an event.

She wipes her mouth, using a napkin; she was raised right. "Come in?"

The door opens to reveal a worried nancy "There girl has woken up... and I think she's got a sword at Fontaine's throat"

Jess is on her feet and moving to the springs.

She comes across the scene the girl, now back to her fae seeming, and that fae seeming of a sidhe! Seven years old she maybe, but she has the power of a shining host within her, and awake! And a sword that burns with flames along it's edges! She is not attacking with it, but she does have it pointed at Fontaine! Mostly she registers confusion!

"Sshhh...." Jessica offers at first. "Hello. I'm Jessica King. What's your name?"

The girl , now with a troll on the other side of her, backs away from both to the corner of the bathing chambers, wordless, eyes looking back and forth , she does not drop her blade but she does not point it at anyone else yet, "Where?"

Her violet eyes might hold fear, but they are also fierce!

"Mexico. Called the Kingdom of the Feathered Snake."

"Where." More imperiously.

"Fenix Freehold, in the County of Renaissance."

Wary. "You don't sound Mexican."

"I'm Fontaine, this is.... well, she's the flame free, the Countess King" Fontaine gestures "She is the freeholder here, and a kind woman. She ssaved you"

The watery man is not any kithain the young Sidhe has ever met.

"And what are you, water-man?"

"His name is Fontaine, and he is special to me." Firmly. "Who are you?"

"I am an Ondine..." Fontaine says "I heal, I seek a heart riddle and..." A glance down "I wore pants today"

"I am Countess Eleanor Hyacinthe Violette, of the Fair Hand. I can defend myself!" It seems almost absurd, but the tiny sidhe seems very comfortable with her flaming sword.

"Well, that's beats Pants, I think,," Fontaine, this Ondine, says gently. Eleanor can see he is weaponless. "It's..nice to meet you? You were badly hurt. The mortals beat you with what I think were belts with buckles and ..."

"I almost beat them..." A touch defensive and sullen.

Fontaine nods then looks to Jessica , that flaming sword makes this water guy nervous.

Jessica holds her hands out peaceably. "Countess, hello. Welcome to Renaissance County. Will you put down your weapon, or use it?" Matter of factly.

Eleanor Hyacinthe Violette realizes she is standing in some sort of roman bath thing with a flaming sword...her voile is damp...and her mortal clothes are some sort of wet jammies.

"Well..."

The flame puffs out with a thought.

"Thank you," Fontaine says, and with a gentle tone says "You are within my healing pools... within her hold, Fenix as she mentioned. You're probably hungry... and, I have noticed, not everyone enjoys wet pants."

"No...."

"I have heard of Inanimae. You are not friends of the Thallain."

"You will not find Thallain-friends here, Countess." Says the troll. "You are under my protection, and safe."

"Those two do not necessarily follow."

"But in this case, they do."

"Well, no. I was under my Warder's protection, and he died." Matter of fact.

Fontaine's face falls a bit "I am sorry, and no, Inamanie aren't normally friends of Thallian"

"I am sorry for your loss." Sincerely.

"He sent me through the trod..." A frown.

Nancy, a blonde satyress peeks in. "Jessica, is everything okay?"

"Would you like something to eat and drink? Dry clothes?" She offers. "Hello, Nancy. This is Countess Violette."

"Eleanor."

"...please?"

"Hi, Eleanor, I'm Nancy." The satyress says, "And nice to meet you" She bows a bit "Sometimes I act as a Reeve here but mostly I get underfoot and help wherever I'm needed."

Jessica quietly gets a towel and passes it over.

The little Countess takes the towel with dignity out of proportion for a dripping 7 year old. Sidhe.

"Thank you, Freeholder."

"I'll get Rosa and Maria on the food, shall I Freeholder? or clothes first?"

"Let's see if we can find her something dry to wear while the food is coming."

"On it" She says and trots to start up prep for that.
