Somewhere in there is a fae soul.. but is he Kithain, or Nunnehi?

"Has a healer been to see him?"

FOntaine looks hurt "I heal"

"I'm sorry, Fontaine, of course you do. I suppose going slowly is better than rushing things."

"Well, He also was heather balmed"

She nods. "Good. At some point, when you feel he's ready, let's move him to the Balefire. See if we can wake him up."

"I shall bring the balefire's heat here with our permisssion?" And the water bubbles

"You can do that?"

"No, but you can.." He says "You but will it" he smiles

Jessica thinks of her connection to the 'Fire, and ... invites.

And the stream of flame spirals through the room, along the wallls, and charges the bubbling water

"Oh!" Surprised that it worked, but pleased.

It looks like all is set

"This lodge knows you"

"Well.... good." Simply. She lingers, but eventually stands. "Fontaine, will you let me know when he wakes, please?"

"of course, Jessica" He stops "Jessica.. uhmm Countess... I have been a part of this hold long before you, but if it means anything? I've never seen anyone with a stronger connection to the flame here"

She looks from the guest to Fontaine. "That's.... that's very generous to say, Fontaine. Thank you."

"You're welcome"

And he turns to tend to the patient

And another voice says "he's alive?" Siv

"Yes." Calmly.

"Good. " Siv says "I'm glad we got to him in time." A sigh "Ah, Countess, can we talk in private again" Her sister asks behind her

"Just Jessica." She says automatically. "Yes, of course." She nods to Fontaine and leads Siv to her own chambers.

And Siv says once they're alone, she says "I want to apologize."

Jessica nods, accepting, listening.

"While I... think I was right about somethings, that doesnt' excuse me snapping at you. You love me, and you are a troll.. of course ye have protective drives. I might disagree on some of your choices, but they are YOUR Choices, even if you werent' in charge of a county. I could go into details on why I t hink I was right blah blah, but I could have handled that better"

"I think" She says "I think after a mom and dad trying to treat me like a soap bubble, folks throwing my condition at me and acting like I can't hang with the 'real' trolls just.. goes all over me. I know you likely don't mean it like that, but it's a sore issue. "

"But it doesn't give me the right to challenge your authority in front of court knights and like. I apologize"

"Thank you, Siv. I accept your apology."

"Well, glad that's done then." She looks at her sister as if ..giving time for her to say more

Jessica takes a breath. "I can't apologize for my decisions; I'd do it again if I needed to. And it's not because of you being any kind of 'soap bubble.'"

"Well, Ican't honestly say I wouldn't do some of the things the same. I WOULD for example, not leave you alone in a 4 to one cold iron knife fight So.. I'll deal with that I guess. " A sigh

"I told you to get back up because we needed back up. I stood my ground because it's -my- ground to stand."

"Aye, and I stayed because Love comes first.. and I love you. "

Jessica sighs and shakes her head.

"Love you too."

Siv beams "Well, that makes you being so stubborn down right tolerable" And she hugs her sister, "Look, is there anything I can do to help here out? Anyone you need smuggled again?"

"No! No, no thanks."

"Okay.. okay. In that case I'm back to Earth Runes. Love you sis" And now , She might notice Siv has a black eye

"Hey, stop." Jessica reaches out but doesn't touch the eye. "What happened?"

"Oh. I got in a fight in this bar... was fun" She grins "I won. Had help though. Sir Buce is good to have as back up"

"Oh. You sure you're ok? You want to take the waters, heal a bit?"

"You kidding?I get thumped worse than this in training at the Runes" She says "i'm good, sis. Save the healing for those what need it"

Jessica nods. "All right. Safe travels. Let me know when you get there?"

"I promise" She says

Jessica nods again, farewell.

And her sister heads off, but does yell once for the crowd "My sister LOVES me! Just thought folks should know"

Fortunately the crowd is thin, but there are some chuckles

And Maria knocks on Jessica's door with a nice bottle of wine "For later. I have sisters too"
