Jessica knows the path, and is not as easily distracted by the wonders (And sadness at times) of the typical in this city.

So it is her keen eyes that notice the odd sight of a condor on the top of a building.

She slows slightly, careful among mortal traffic (such as it is) when distracted by the bird. She remembers recent reports.....

Siv looks up "Okay, that's a big ass vulture"

"Not a vulture." Jessica calls, slowing further to stop. When secured, she kenns the thing up there.

A touch of glamour.. the form that of a California Condor

"Mom would so give me the brow for not knowing this"

"Not a normal one, though. You might be off the hook." Jessica focuses on the bird, keeping her eyes on it.

It meets eyes with her, and then..flies, between the buildings through an alley way

It does not fly fast

"Ok, come on. We're following." She pulls the bike back onto its wheels and off they go.

"Well, of course we are" Siv says "Be sad if we didnt'"

And they race after, this narrow alley could be dangerous, but the bike fits through it.

Jessica is a careful driver, true, but she's focused on this bird.

"Clothes line" Siv warns hunkering low

Jessica slows as needed and hunkers as well.

Whew. Yeah, still almost rubbed it

And she hears a voice "Finish him off..."

"Wait, who the fuck is bringing a motorcycle back here?" (In Spanish)

And our heroines stumble onto a group of mortal men with knives... cold iron edges, standing over a body bleeding

Four of the men their are, not counting their victim.

"Siv, take the bike, get out of here, and get help." Jessica -orders-, the image of her father, and she leaps off with her maul at the ready.

She charges forward silently, not willing to alert the criminals until she is on them, if she can.

She ambushes the first one before he can raise his knife.

At least to her, the others however, get to react....

Weird evoked, she slams one with the maul causing him to gape and groan "What the fuck..." (Again all in the Spanish)

"Monsters!" the other guy says as he gets back handed. The first one she struck is craddling a broken arm. The backhanded guy reels.

Monsters? Plural?

Siv stabs forward with a rapier, weaving under cold iron despite her height and plunges the blade through the third mortal

"GODDAMNIT!" Jessica rages, her eyes like thunderclouds, and she stomps. She uses the involuntary exclaimation and stomp, combined with the following hand gesture, to cast Eldrich Prime and raise concrete/stone around the miscreant's feet to hold them.

As a slash at Jessica's wrist cuts ... leaching glamour as the cold iron violates her soul and body both....but Jessica's retalitory cantrip causes the city streets itself to engulf them, making them easier targets in turn

"You kiss mother with that mouth?" Siv say disarming one by spearing his hand.

then one of them HURLS his cold iron knife at Siv

and it misses by inches

Even as Jessica started to move to intercept

Fortunately it misses both, and Siv shoots her sister a Look dark and dangerous before returning to the fight

"Fuck these knives, get the gun..." One says

Jessica can see 'the gun' is quite literal, only one is packing, and he's reaching for it now

Jessica attacks the gun wielder. (Is he bound by her cantrip?)

Yup, and that makes him an easy target... Jessica breaks his shoulder with a well placed maul strike, the man screams, but will likely live if she wants him too.

As long as the gun is neutralized.... She turns, looking for the next danger.

Only to find that they are all down.

Carefully, she kicks all the cold iron she can find away, into an out-of-the-way area off to the side.

The gun she unloads, clears, and tucks away carefully.

Siv is moving to the downed man they attacked, "I think this poor bastard is alive"

"Go get help. Phobos, Diego, Dame Ash."

"On it," Siv says "We'll talk later about OTHER things later" And she rides off on the motorcyle

How to keep this poor bastard alive?

Jessica glances up at the skies... then approaches, and kneels down to examine the figure.

The Condor is watching
