"You want to help, feel free." She offers to it, and then uses what she can remember of first aid to try and help.

The Condor flies down onto the chest of the person, spreads it's wings as if to shoot Jessica off

If she allows?

She allows the approach, and even landing, but she doesn't move (except to allow this) from where she is.

It spreads it's wings, swaying it's ugly head, and then plunges it's beak down to touch, the wound.. and take nothing. A single tear flows from one of the condor's eyes, and it drops into the wound.

Cold Iron's wouns are hard to cure...so what happens is not so much a restoration, as holding back the last of the blood from leaving. Never the less, the man gasps and stabilizes

"My people will take care of him." She promises quietly. "Fenix is a place of healing.... as you know."

The Condor nods its ugly head, then flies off... nothing to say, if it can say anything

Jessica re-examines the injured one.

Better. Well, better than dying.

His glamour is weak.. she can't make out what kith he is...

Phobos, Diego, Dame Ash, and of course, Siv return. Indeed, Siv can be heard "Later your countess and I need to talk about liberties taken."

"Captain, you ARE in her domain." Ash says

"And you are her Hermana" Diego says

Phobos snorts at something

"Renaissance, to me." She says quietly but firmly; she means to be heard.

"Let's get him to Fenix, to the springs. He's had some chimerical healing but he's still in a bad way. He's my honored guest."

They move to her, and Phobos nods "Brought the station wagon, can put him in the back"

Dame Ash eyes the cold iron "Countess, permission to get rid of that? "

"Yes, please Dame. And thank you, Diego, Phobos."

Jessica moves and helps them take the wounded man to the vehicle. "Diego, call John Longfeather to him when you get back? Tell John a condor led us to him, and healed him enough to keep him alive. At least... it looked like a condor; there was glamour in it but I don't think it was a chimera."

"It was definitely -more- than just a bird, though."

"Pooka perhaps?" Diego says

She shakes her head. "I don't know."

"Perhaps a few omens, but of course I'll talke to Longfeather"

Siv says "I'll go help Dame Ash with the cold iron" and she starts to go back to the alley to do so.

"Thank you. And no, Siv, please don't." Calm, but firm.

Siv stops "And why not?"

"Because she said so," Phobos snorts

"May I speak with you privately please?"

"Fine," Siv says and waits for this 'private' talk

The others handle the projects they've been assigned or asked to do

And when the Kings are alone in the alley again.....

(Jessica orders the injured mortals dumped at a local hospital; Phobos gets to be in charge of that!)

Siv raises a brow "Well, we're alone"

Jessica nods, resting her hands on the end of her maul-handle, the head of it on the ground. "I didn't want you dealing with the cold iron because you are especially susceptible to it. "

"Then you shouldn't have had a SIDHE take the job" Siv says jaw set "I don't need you molly coddling me, Sis. And I sure as hell don't ever want you to leap in front of me to try to take a cold iron knife in the gut... that could destroy EITHER of us if we died, forever."

Siv looks DEEPLY offended, even a bit angry "I'm more agile than you, you twit. All that extra meat and muscle won't keep you from being hit, but I can dodge"

A shrug. "I'll assign duties to my people as I see fit."

"And, defend the people in my lands as I see fit."

"Then I will do what I wish to do as I see fit..including gathering cold iron to keep it from endangering others" Siv says "And YOU have a duty to rule, you're not some front line thane. And I do not care for treating me like a fragile doll. I am, in point of fact, a SKILLED fighter, and far better suited to ducking and avoiding than you are"

STUBBORN look

"Siv, I'm going to put it plainly. And I regret if this upsets you. But if you keep going down this road, I will be in contact with the Baronesses of EarthRunes and Rivervale with a report of your insubordination." Flat. And yes, she's still upset but she's holding it back. "Your call."

"Insubordination?!" Siv says "I'm sorry, were we next to a balefire I'm missing?"

A shrug.

"Right... fine, you tell them what you want to tell them, and then I'll tell them you insulted my honor and if you weren't my sister I'd..." A breath "You're letting this title go to your head . You're not MY liege. We weren't in a hold. And I was upholding the Escheat trying to rescue that poor bastard same as you. So you go tell mom, you tell the baroness- Do what you like, and I'll do what I Know is RIGHT"

Snort

Another shrug, no less angry.

She heads for the motorcycle.
