"He'll get plenty of food... just -his- food." Jessica asks one of the kitchen staff if they can help with that, since Laz seems hungry.

And another round of beers.

A bowl is put out for him,... he sniffs it looks a bit dubious, then tries some and decides it's okay

"Now, how are things here, Westwind? " It's pretty clear Clem isnt' really calling her Countess

"Westward." With a grin. "Well..... not bad? Some of my people came up with a creepy but fairly effective way of dealing with the disease nocturna that had been around, so that's a relief. The balefires are all strong. We're having to work a bit harder to muse, in general, but it's not completely impossible."

"What I said, Wardwest" A smile at her clever joke, or maybe at the news "Good on ya. Honestly, this city is.. well, it's a dangerous deadly place but somehow you help create these little oasises for changeling and mor..mortal alike. You've done good, Westward."

"I have had a -lot- of help."

"Good folk make Chiefs Great" she quotes a saying then nods "I get proud of them sometimes. They make me crazy, but my family, my folk.. they're.. they're THERE ,you know? Tough as steel. Bet you feel the same about yourn'"

"I do. Both here and at Rivervale."

"Good.. because your family feels the same way aobut you...lest it sure seems. "

Jessica nods. "I know." Quietly.

"Oh sorry, Jess... I didn't mean to bring things up that might make you feel on the spot. We can talk about whatever you like... gripe about men and fail that beachwhatever test... or maybe you tell me what kind of food you want brought in now that we got spring harvest to provide you?"

"No, that's ok." Sincerely. "But, hey, any food you can provide will go to support our Fae who need a little help, and mortals. Migrants, mostly."

"That still going on eh? Barely hear about it in the news"

"Well, there has been something else going on." Dryly. More beers appear.

She glances over to check on Laz.

She nods, approving, and turns back.

"you jess.. I will get you all the food you need for those poor folk.. if I can. But dont' forget we're hree to help in other ways if you need. We might be able to set you up a small garden if you like outside of town, or an orchard even now that you run the whooooleplace"

She nods, sips. "We have some spaces like that, but if we could get help improving them....."

"shoot ..somewhart would see it as a challenge ...be happy to. We're good at spring magics and nature stuff. Heck, we might even do almost all the work in exchange for growing some things down here we can't grow up in old Elnorte" SHe says 'pardon. I am not a bit tipsy"

Jessica grins. "I'm starting to feel it myself. You want to keep going?"

"One more and then I'm off to whatever bed you want to throw me in."

And the two lady trolls totter off to their respective beds in the hold... and Jessica, when she wakes up, will find somehow a great dane puppy at the foot of hers
