"No! No, just... showing him around. He'll need, you know. A relief area. Any ideas?"

"On the street like the other dogs?" A sniff, then "Well, there is that green patch of weeds that's overgrown where there used to be pavement "

Jessica nods, and walks with the puppy to the patch. "Do you think you can use this?"

The puppy sniffs the weeds, moves among the scrabby grass.... squats and takes a shit

"Good boy." She approves. "I think you've got it. At least, when we show you."

He then sniffs at the most impressive load for a puppy, then looks up proudly as if to say 'that is an impressive turd, huh?'

"Yes, Good Boy."

WAG and bounce. He's a good boy and playful

"Ok, well... I suppose I should show you around and introduce you. Come on. Synder, will you help keep an eye out on him?"

"It's a lower creature on the Four legged hiearfchy" She protests

"He's a baby."

"Oh very well, I'll keep an eye on him, but he's your dog. You need to walk him and see he's properly socialized"

"I will."

Lazuli barks happily at the horse

Synder sighs "Oh it wants to be friends"

"His name is Lazuli."

Another bark and happy thump of tail against Jessica's leg. He really is a sweet thing

"Very well, Lazuli, and he not it. " Synder says 'Better?"

A smile for the 'Mare. "Yes, thank you."

Lazuli turns and then looks attentive, his little folded ears perking at a sound

Jessica glances over at his alert.

And she sees Clem.. cursing and bleeding.

"Clem!!" She jumps, running over. "What happened???"

"Got attaked by a Virus nightamre while coming to visit you..." she says "Don't worry, I killed it. You'd be surprised what hollystrike to the face can do when you mean it"

"Her wounds are bubbling like acid...and ..slowly healing.

"Come on....." She helps Clem to the healing pools.

"I've got it on my own, Jessica. I really do. I just needed a break from all the babies"

And she walks into the lodge though "Though if you care to we can BOTH go in the waters... uhm.. that fellow's learnt to wear pants right?"

Jess walks with her, and calls "Pants!" as they approach.

"Oppression" Fontaine calls back, then "Yes, Freeholder"

"Sorry, Fontaine.... just trying to meet a common comfort level. Can you help Clem?"

"Of course, though she already has spring magics going..." He observes

"Thank you, I am a healer myself you know? Best in Iowa if I may be allowed a brag" Then a look to Jessica "Okay, when did you get a dog? He's adorable"

Jessica looks down and, oh, yeah, Lazuli is there! "Um, today. Just a bit ago."

Lazuli wags

"Oh, a real geniune fae hound Great Dane. Bet he'll be able to pull a cart and then some older"

"Yes, yes, he probably will." with a faint sigh.

"Well?" Clem says "Westward, what's his name?"

"Oh, Lazuli, this is Chief Clem from the DeBuke Farmhold. Clem, this is Lazuli, our newest resident."

Lazulia wags , puppy bows and then bounces a bit

"Oh he's wonderful... thank you, Lazuli, I thought I was about to get sick of all creatures young, and then you came along"

Then she looks at Jessica, "We had 7 babies born on the farm in the last week."

"SEVEN?"

"Three days in a row, twins the first day, tripplets the second.. one of which pert near died, and another set of twins on the third day" Clem looks exhausted "All three mothers are healed up, better than any mortal mother would be... but that's still a lot of work"

"You look wiped out, Clem." Concerned.

"Mentally, emotionally, and even a bit glamour wise...our bale is focused on feeding wards to protect the children in the early stages. I'll be fine, got dross, but I needed a break from three sisters each with the same father 'living together' and about ready to drive ME to murder if they dont' kill each other"

Jaw drop. "Three sisters... you mean all three sisters have the same parents? And they are living with them after childbirth?"

"Three Kinian Sisters, April Maude, May Maude, and June Maude, got a little wild with Caeser on a holiday... now Caesar didn't know it, but he got blessed with fertiility... and " A shake of her head "Sorry, I should say with the same LOVER and father ot their children... April had 3, May 2, and june 2."
