"It's good, mmm?" Duff says tearing into his own.

"Mmm." Yes, she certainly seems to think so.

The fries are not greasy, and must have been cut from high quality potatoes

Condiments, small samples, await by the side

Wow. That went fast....

He offers some of his fries "I'm full"

She hesitates, then accepts and eats them slowly.

He looks her over, to see if she's lost any weight since this whole countess thing started

No, hasn't gained either.

She does look tired, but that is not unusual either.

"Ocean eyes, you need to find a way to pace yourself"

She wipes her mouth. "I do. But it's busy."

He nods "I know. I'll take care of this one at least for you"

"Thank you. I will delegate more." She indicates the different piles.

A nod "Good." Then "Now, about dinner tonight. Want me to handle it?"

"You don't have to babysit me, Duff." Gently.

"I assure you, what I want to do with you involves a whole different set of appetite, but my ego would be crushed if I threw you to the bed, began to take you, and you fell asleep under me" A mix of flriation and humor

BLUSH

"Um."

"So you see why it's in my own best interest to have you fed, rested, and with free time to take you out by the ocean so I can take you by the surf?"

You would think she couldn't blush harder. You would be wrong.

Duff kisses her, shamelessly.

She doesn't take onions on her burgers, apparently. After just a moment, she kisses him back.

And the kisses are returned, along lips, neck, shoulders.

She warms under his hands, becoming more ardent, more interested.

Areas he knows that few have learned as well, and he uses the knowledge to his advantage; as he kisses and carresses and even grabs where he knows she is most appreciative, guiding her to the bed

".....door?....." she mumbles.

A gesture, and it locks. It would appear she has given sufficient motivation for him to use a bit glamour

The casting is hasty, as if he wants to focus on something, someONE far more important.

She looks to the door, then him, with a puzzled blink.

"Legerdemain.." A kiss

She kisses him back, quickly getting over any confusion.

And he carries her to the bed, a low growl in his throat and lays her down.

She hesitates again, then lifts her arms, reaching for him.

And she pulls him to join her, not that he fights it.
