Caesar comes in, bruised but happy, accompanying a certain Dame Ash

"Caesar." She offers her hand.

He takes it "Good to see you, Jessica" His grip is firm, strong, and RIGHT sized for a troll hand, "You look good. Mexico agrees with you. Been a long time"

"It has. Do you require healing?"

"LIttle bit maybe, mom always gets fussy if I come in beat up, but I know a guy wither heatherbalm if you need to conserve sources. "

"Fenix is a place of healing. You're welcome to use the springs and we can talk after."

"How about we talk and then I'll heal? Unless I'm looking that ugly or smelling that bad?" he grins

"It's up to you. If you are comfortable, then yes." She offers him a seat, and sits. "What brings you?"

"Southwest Airlines," He grins but takes a seat.

Eyebrow.

"Sorry, well, I wanted to check out this Pit area... been worried I've gotten soft. You know? All the 'it's not real' comments can wear at a guy's ego. That, and I thought I'd buy a building while I was here"

"Got to admit, some of the neighborhoods around this place are rough"

"What areas are you looking in?" Food and drink arrives.

"Close houses, or a small apartment complex stuff actually. You know how i work right?"

She shakes her head.

"I use my money, but property, then ...offer rent or rebuy at a more reasonable pace to the Kithain community. It's not exactly a money maker, but it's a good way to help out other changelings who have it worse off."

"We certainly have those."

"Yeah, also, Mexico is like.. REALLY into Wrestling... the Luchadors are like superheroes...so respect you know?"

"I do."

"Wait, " He laughs "Jessica, is this a formal inquiry? I mean, you had me brought here to see what I was up to?"

"Well... in part."

"I see," he smiles "Do I need to apologize for not calling you countess? And..also, what's the other part?"

"No, we stay informal here as much as possible. I guess the other part is.... just to catch up."

"Oh gee, not sure what to tell you on the catching up part. It's been nuts... mom is very happy with Emerson, they're club is rocking..well, jazzing actually."

Jess nods; she is vaguely aware of those he speaks of.

"August is a Baron now, and the head of a Bannerhouse that bears his family name. Zara, not sure you know either well, is off to Vassaar but still checks on the library at Earth Runes. Rivervale apparently slew a dragon? Or maybe it was some other trolls.. you'd know better than I on that one " A grin

She nods. "I consider Zara a friend, albeit one I have not seen in a while. Too long, really. And yes, Rivervale was part of that."

"Zara's a sweetie. Oh she's shacked up with Earl.. pardon , Sir Earl. Man it makes me happy to see two kids hit it off.." Ahem "how. .updated are you with the DeBukes?"

She shrugs; a 'to-so gesture.

"Yeah, well, I'm.. gonna be a father, and .." Sheepish "you'll probably hear about that eventually..."

EYEBROW

"You realize I don't speak troll?" He says at the eyebrow

"Apparently you speak it well enough! A father.... of DeBukes?"

"It's complicated.. I kind of got blessed by a Inaminae and ... well ah... my swimmers all became Michael Phelps so there were these triplets and... " He looks torn between a little embarrasment and a lot of pride "I'm going to be the father of at least three. Wow huh?"

Jessica.... slowly.... facepalms.

"Ah. ha" Sheepish pride "They sure do grow em healthy in Iowa huh?"

"Given the DeBukes I'm surprised you can still produce testosterone." But she blushes.

"Plenty to spare it seems. I know it's nuts, but, I'm glad it happened? I've always loved kids. Wondered what it would be like to be a dad?"

"Overkill, Caesar.... overkill."

"Little bit" he agrees

"I joked about naming the kids Hogan, Savage, and Flair, but apparently wrestling names are vorbodden"

" I can't blame them."

"oh, what are you gonna name your kids if you ever have one? Just curious"

For a moment, the bale heats up... and Jessica might feel a smile on her face as she imagines an adorable baby in a basinet, one with her eyes.

Then she realizes the darn hold is feeling 'i love kids' thanks to Yule and might be nudging

She shoots the balefire a look of baffled accusation.

" I haven't thought about it. And, I imagine my husband would have some input." She answers the satyr.

"Well, mom is got a list of suggestions.. I think she'll have more input than I do." He says

" is she looking forward to it?"
