"No one liked looking at it, but Mountain Emmit lost sight in one eye so... could have been so much worse for mom. And I thank a kindly da'an that she did not die entire. " A pause "So, you been coranated formally with ceremony yet?"

"No. Things were all over the place and then.... Samhain.... it wasn't the right time."

"Well that's good, means the family might get to be there and watch it happen, show our support" She says with a smile

She nods "I plan to invite everyone who can come."

"Mom and Da are so proud of you," Siv assures her.

"I was too but then I was afraid it would go to your head" a nod, bit of a smile

"I don't think there is a danger of that."

"Fine. I'll be a little proud of you then" A smile and a sip "Thanks for letting me drop by , sis. I needed.. I don't know, a pit stop"

She nods, taking her seat again. "I'm sorry if I overreacted."

"No, it's a good thing. I've got no right to bitch about how closed off folks are all the time if when they do open up honestly I act butthurt about it. " A nod "Of course you worried about mom and dad. I was near sick to worry about it when she went off"

Jessica nods.... and, of course, she was far away and behind the news.

"They don't call you about this stuff do they? Probably worried you'd worry yadda yada, as if it's better to get it all later" Humph "Would you like me to hold of on telling you this stuff entire?"

Jessica sighs. "Maybe.... A little at a time?"

a blush "I do tend to bring shipments in bulk"

"It's a lot to take in all at once. Especially emotionally."

"It was unfair opf me to be so slapdash about it. All right, let me say this. Mom's odd political tacts aside, mum is well, dad is well now that mum is well. Lut and and Tig are well... though Lut is dating a mortal woman pretty heavy..seems serious. Vali is fine and handling grumphood well...Tiffanys a big sister of sorts to a nocker girl. Kerri is still master of her domain, Olgar is still adorably beastly though their daughter is making them a bit bonkers. Most of the wilders are having our drama"

She nods. "Does anyone..... no, nevermind. I'll ask mom."

"Ask anyway. Makes me feel useful if I know the answer"

A shrug. "Still have to ask mom. Just wondering if... if an exchange of wilders would be beneficial. "

"You need wilders? Heck we got all kinds..." she says "Problem would be schooling, but.. are you looking for a kith or a type?"

She shakes her head. "No, I don't need wilders... but maybe if all the Wilders at Rivervale had a chance to come here for a time?"

"Well we sure have easy access now," She says speaking of the new trod "I don't think it's a bad idea"

"We'll see what Mom thinks."

"Fair. She's a bit busy so it might take a bit, but she might not be crazy about folks tromping in and out of the lodge like it were a highway"

"I have no intention of.... Siv, just leave it alone and let me talk to mom about it, Ok?"

"I was agreeing with you that mom should be talked to first" She sighs.

Jess shakes her head. "No, I'm saying let -me- talk to mom."

"And I'm saying YEEESS it's a good idea. When did I say I was going to do it for you?"

"You didn't."

"Okay. You said you'd ask mom and I figured you would. You've got an honest enough face, I think I can trust you" Wryly

Eyebrow.

"except for the eyebrow thing, that's kind o' shifty looking"

A sigh.

"Are you staying a bit, Siv?"

"I can't, wish I could" she admits, "With Sylvi half her time in Rome to see her boyfriend, and Mom focused on various 'must do' lists .... and new Chrystalids... and who knows what else, I just... can't leave the lodge for long. Too much to do for that sort of luxury, Dagmar's solid but she's not in a good place, Gerd's acting love sick, which is fine but she's not doing much productive, it feels like most of us are only half there. So I need to be there twice over."

"Do you want me to send some help?"

"No. I appreciate it, but I'm p[retty sure your big populated county needs all the reliable hands it can get. We're not in a crisis , for once, but it does feel swamped nonetheless"

Jessica nods. "I'll ask mom."

A brow.

"She's the Chieftain."

"It's like you don't trust my judgement a bit, but okay, that she is. You're going to talk to her anyway so... get it all out etc etc."

"It's not that I don't trust you, Siv. I think Mom will turn me down, too. But she's the Chieftain; that's her perogotive."

"Just not sure why you bothered asking me is all, if you're just gonna jump to that. However I'm likely just tired. I will say the full belly and conversation have eased me a lot. Thank you"

"Siv. Why don't you stay over, leave fresh in the morning?"

"I just told you why." SHe reminds "But I'll be okay. Really. "

Jessica frowns but nods. "Ok."

"Thank you. I promise, if I feel myself getting sloppy I'll take a nap" She assures

It doesn't seem to help much, but she nods again.
