Siv does not set off the trod door, it's like it doesn't even sense her. So when she visits, it really is something of a surprise. Welcome or not

Siv enters Fenix taking off a winter coat

... and when word is brought, Jessica comes to greet her. "Siv? Is everything ok??"

Siv looks, tired, "Great.. just, " A breath "It's been crazy but good. Is this a bad time?"

"No, it's fine, crazy how?"

"Come on in, are you hungry or thirsty?"

"Oh its ridonkulous..." Siv says "I don't know where to begin... and yes, please. I'm thirsty, and I think I skipped lunch."

Jessica asks for things to be brought to her own chambers, where she and Siv are headed. She settles Siv down. "Tell me." Braced.

"Well, like I saidk, things are good, just crazy. THREE Dream dances on the same day... new.. and old lodges popping up and the races is on there. Mom used her influence in the Parliament of Dreams, and now she's using it to make sure the lodge reclaimed in Rome New York goes to trolls. I've got a boyfriend again sort of kind of but I don't know how I feel about him, with Bancroft I was mad in love, with other guys it was a crush but with him I .. I like him, a lot... I want to see where it goes. But w'ere so different. And then there's me joining house Fiona... maybe. Maybe not. And Lucia is on a quest..but you dont' know her. And Dagmar and Adam and Sylvi and Gerd have their drama as does Zane and Dirk and others you don't know... so I'm trying to take the pressure off in other ways, but I'm not a planner like you so I am making shit up as I go along."

Quite the blitz of events

WHich part, the using her influence to affect a parliament vote, or the seizing and rebirth of a troll lodge in another duchy?"

"All of it."

"Well... before samhain, there was this big ole vote on some Bannerhouses. I didn't evne know about the ruddy things but they seem neat. Shame there's no banner house for sailing.. I'd be in like flin if they weren't Eiluned or unseelie"

"And mom was encouraged, by Nadeen, to push for the passage of Banner House Truthbranch. Mom agreed, and .. it tilted the balance"

"Eiluned aren't known for being particularly maritime...."

"Nadeen?"

"We'll she wasn't sained then, but yes, Baroness Nadeen ap Varich"

"She's been a ward of sorts ,on and off, despite being a sidhe"

"Varisch? Really?"

"Why do you put that S in there?" She says "Sounds weird.. Yes, Varich. " A nod "Has this sword that can create like a painful sound for slaugh ears, but we've worked hard to get her to ease up on the bigotry. Oh she's gonna be mad."

"Autocorrect." Jess answers, "I thought she -wanted- mom to move the vote on the, um, banner house?"

"Yeah, did I say she did not? She encouraged mom to push for the passage... yeah , that's what I said."

"For some reason, Nadeen thought Bannerhouse Truthbranch was worth while, I think it was part of arranging a political capital and maybe a marriage. OH Kerri was PISSSEED"

"About her selling herself in marraige, not about the bannerhouse"

"Yeah." Jess rubs the base of her horns. "I can see that. But why is -Nadeen- upset?"

"Well she's upset because she decided to be a Liason rather than marry for a hold.,, everyone happy, including her. One day she might get her own hold and she'd have the pull to make it happen blah blach sidheplotting... then BAM... a new/old hold returns! And mom doesn't even THINK Of Nadeen as a ruler for it. It's a lodge, so trolls only kind of thing. Nadeen feels snubbed and set up"

A long moment. "Probably best Nadeen doesn't visit here? I mean, not sure she'd like it."

"Are you kidding? She might decide to marry someone just to spite mom. I'm talkign to her, calming her down, but Sylvi is with her boyfriend who is acting as regent of the lodge...." A smile "And I'm not as smooth as Sylvi is"

Jessica rubs at her horns again. "Wow."

"I know, 'tis suprising to think of me as not smooth but ye are"

"The dragon created new Trods and Holds?"

"More like the three created or returned them by killing the dragon that had hoarded taht energy, but yes"

She exhales. "Wow. You're right.... crazy. "

"And that's not even counting the guy stuff. Tove is pregnant, Vali is probably getting married, Dagmar isn't sure what to make of Tove's new baby on the way. Luci was apparently wanting to be more than a boggan? I don't even... not sure where Eden even IS these days. Had to run a con on a redcap corby to save Dirk from being killed.. and I cannot unsee some of that. Symon ran off to help Colton, and Anne Marie is about to hunt him down... Piper ? Piper seems low drama but who knows?"

Jessica sits back. "That's... a lot, Siv."

"Yeah" She nods "I'm feeling a bit... overwhelmed?"

"You and me both." The food and drink arrive, and Jessica serves Siv.

Siv digs in, though she's not a pig about it , she clearly was hungry and thirsty as she said, "THanks. I've been patroling a lot... of course, but It doesn't stop my mind from racing. Sorry to dump all this on you but I figured A) You'd need to know eventually and B) I really needed some kind of outlet"

"Well, I'm glad to know about it all, and if it helps you help Rivervale.... dump all you want."

"Appreciated it. Has mom.. every done anything political on her own accord? I mean.. it really seems different for her"

"-No.-" Emphatically. "Not that I've seen, not that I've heard."

"So it's not just me. I mean, on one hand I'm excited. you know? Mom flexes and House Gwydion goes 'whoa'... on the other hand, I'm like 'is this a mid life crisis for chieftains?'"

Jessica thinks... shakes her head. "I don't get it. I don't even see it."

"I could just ask her, but she's been kind of busy. Also, how DO you ask about that?"
