News flows, in a weird reverse border patrol situation, a lot of folks traveling south (Over trods) found enhanced security- trod wise that is. Rovers or "Knights of the way" seem to spend in force around the trods in Oakland. If there was meant to be a 'wave' of troublemakers, well, it 'sure not happening now

Jessica goes to one of her most trusted advisers, and friends. "Dame... well done." As she receives the reports.

"Thank you," Mitra says "I imagine the rovers realize they were tipped off for a purpose, they're not stupid by any stretch, but they seem to appreciate the gift horse without looking it into the mouth so far."

"No, Rovers are not stupid." She smiles a little.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. I just wonder if the Countess is doing well?"

Jessica frowns. "I don't know. No word."

"I have never liked the Countess," Diego says, "But her silence does make me worry. She is normally the soul of efficiency is she not?"

"She is," Mitra says "I worked for her before. She wasn't one to dally"

"Form patrols. If we have to, take a few from the Summerstrike watch. Let's find her. Get Woden-Tito on it."

"It will be done," Mitra bows.

Diego nods "I know where Tito-Woden is. I'll put a fire under his blue tail."

"Thank you. And please, if anyone thinks of a good idea here... let me know."

Agreements, and she's left be.. . for now.
