Chaos rules the streets!

Okay, not really... with the Countess in town, it seems as if a forced peace is in place. Whatever is going at Summerstrike's hold seems to be on lock down.

Mitra however, is quick to inform Jessica "They're using this moment to build up forces I think."

"We're still making Tweak's shields?"

"At a rate that's startling" Mitra says

Necropsis comes in... and without saying a word, slaps something down before the two women.

It appears to be a poster, chimerical...

not too large, but... it speaks of "The Renaissance Fief, the new vacation destination for all your needs, wealthy in glamour, treasures, dross... all expenses paid for (and then some)...' and goes on in more detail

Jessica scans, then reads carefully for details.

It's a recruiting poster more or less, inviting folks here... to cause trouble. It's in English.. and she doens't think it's local.

"All over?" She asks Necropsis.

"Brightside o the bay, Norte side"

"Not in Mexico then..." Mitra thinks she has it right

She nods, looks at Mitra. "Produce our own, try and mitigate? Along with removing what we can? Contact that local leader?"

Nec snorts "They planning to 'settle' here with guns and fun'"

Mitra ponders, "counter propaganda might be wise"

Jessica nods. "Let the local leader up there know what's being done in his, or her, lands. Might gain an ally. Get as many as we can down." She grins, and you know? Troll teeth really -are- kind of wolf-like. "Feed them to Fenix's Balefire, and the Pit's."

"Well, more of them back ugly side of gate back in my crib gone to dust"

Mitra blinks "Bright side of the.. oh Oakland. Someone is recruiting trouble mkaers in Oakland?"

Jessica frowns; her translator is brok..... oh. "That's..... You think Summerstrike is doing -that-?"

Nec shrugs "Maybe a homey what back him up is gifting his ass"

Mitra frowns "It makes sense. A rush of paid trouble makers tests our defenses but can't be traced back to him easily"

Jessica nods, agreeing. "Ok, so.... well, Oakland, clearly, has a reputation." Thinking. "You figure someone in power up there created these posters and is trying to flood us with... more trouble? Like the way Summerstrike sent his Unseelie people? Necropsis, what... I mean, who, can we expect."

"Gangers, glamour hungers, dream rapists, drug dealers, pimps, simps, and scum- you know MY people."

"But I don't think my woman be wrong. Bitch is smart... maybe it didn't start up there and just got dropped off there you know?"

Mitra ponders those words, then "You found this in Oakland? that means you were there... " She looks to the Freeholder, "Jessica, if there's someone THERE making these, that's one thing... but if some one is DELIVERING them to troubled cities... that's another."

"The latter means we might find them by keeping an eye on the local trods"

"Necropsis, do you know if anyone at the Pit 8s skilled in trod craft? I've tried to learn about those there but...."

A shrug "We get the woof woofs coming through now and thanks to your auntie's main squeeze"

"I believe he's talking about Olgar the Rover"

Mitra says

She nods. "I got that much. Necropsis, can you arrange it so Rovers coming through know I want to see them?"

"Shit baby, I'm a natural diplomat"

"Oh dear. I hope this goes okay"

That last from Mitra

Jessica sighs, then looks at Mitra. "Hey....."

"What about You? You are a warrior. They have to respect that."

"I'm a sidhe... the knights of the way aren't antiroyalist, but how on earth..." She says "All right. Yes , allow me to do it. "

"I was thinking more about whoever it is being predominantly at the Pit for a while. I don't want you away from Fenix; to the contrary. But you-are- a diplomat."

"I am," She nods "You want me to contrat the rovers and ask them if they can assign someone to the pit?"

"No, direct them to any likely trods connecting to Oakland or that area. Could be to here, could be to our neighbor over the northern border, where these posters are showing up."

"Yes, less direct association with us. Clever. You're learning to think like an Eiluned"

"Um. Thank you. "

"You got the urge to stab a friend , bluetooth?" Nec smirks

"Very funny, Nec." The sidhe rises, "I'll tend to that now"

"Thank you, Dame. And thank you, Necropsis. "

Mitra bows and leaves. Nec shrugs, and goes to check on his kid.
