Oh yes, Fenix seems to be feeling very smug.

Especially since he's wearing mostly white (it was white anyway) with a half cape with a antler design.

Mitra walks up "Wht do you think of the 'White Hart hunt'? "

She nods. "I like it. Who's idea was it?"

"It was in the suggestion box, we don't know who came up with it. We were going to dress you up. Let the kids hunt you, but you vanished for a bit... and ..honestly I've never been more surprised with the most dnagerous man in the city..volunteered. Guess the Seelie side got him"

The Balegives a bit of a roar that sounds almost like a YUSS!

"Maybe it did." She agrees gently, then pats the hearth. "Yes yes yes....." encouraging "Very well done." Then, to Mitra. "I went to the Pit, to say hello."

"THat explains the bruises." Mitra notes.

"Oh, if you want to take a chuck at him, Diego left the color dark blue avialable. We agreed you could take a shot even if childlings got to be the winners. Go on and play if you want"

Jessica.... grins. "Yeah, I think I'd like that." She grabs some ammo and goes after Duff.

The chase is on... and well Duff looks up to see her, Dark blue in hand "Oh... sure, now you show up..." And he dives behind some furniture.

"Get him, Freeflame!" One kid yells/"Don't let him get away!" Another says

Jessica motions for the kids to distract and attack while she angles for position.....

They follow dutifully her orders flanking him like velociraptors for their alpha

She ducks, sneaks.....

And sure enough, he comes out of the wrong side (For her the RIGHt side, looks up and mouths 'oh shit')

WHAM WHAM WHAM!!! Jessica unloads.

CHEERS from the kids, as the White hart goes down

Two shots with the right simultaneously, one follow up with the left.

Rosa and Maria, the officials , call out "The hunt has ended . While the final blow goes to Chapelleh, only a child can truly earn the wish... so we will look at the colors beyond Dark Blue.." A glance to the Freeholder to make sure she's not offended

Jessica nods agreement, allowing herself a small smile of victory.

The winner is a surprised boy who had been chucking green like no tomorrow.. a satyr lad who gets much praise.

Jessica plucks the cape with horns off Duff's shoulders and hands it to the boy.

He holds it up "I got him!"

More applause

Duff gets up, "Thsi stuff washes off right?" Low volume to the boggans

Jess crosses over to him. "I'll help." Softly.

"Well, Merry Beltaine" He rises up and gives ehr a soft kiss. Few notidce, for their focus is on the boy

She pecks him back, then leads him to her room.

It's a very merry Beltaine indeed.

He's squeaky clean. Eventually.

And maybe the balefire and its mistress BOTH feel a wee bit smug.
