Jessica moves through the streets of Tijuana, well versed in such, and towards what she knows as The Pit. She steps inside, using her shoulders if needed.

The pit has changed some, now a hold, the violence it seemed to inspire has become somewhat more regular, more ritualistic in not just the matches, but how it works. It is, perhaps like an angry twin sister to the more peace loving Fenix. Mortals come here still, many unaware of the magical nature of hte place, and it weathers it well... but there are more changelings than before, a few she doesn't recognize.

Jess makes the rounds without calling attention to herself. Just another Amazonian Troll Warrioress with a BIG DAMN HAMMER, checking things out.

Some eyes go her way ,she could be a fighter after all, but she's a bit surprised at just how many trolls are here. Judging by their style, their features being slightly more primative, they're leaning towards the Unseelie side

Her jaw tightens, and she moves through the crowd. No quarter given, not challenge presented. Just moving along here, thanks.

Between two trolls, there's a nocker she recognizes ,young Symond... Tweak's righth and and part of the triumverant

Jessica gives her just the slightest of acknowledging nods; no big. How's it going, happy Beltaine. Do your thing.

THere seems to be very little beltaine in the area... oh a few nods to it, but not much in formal ceremony

Jessica continues to move, to observe, taking mental notes.

Just as the fighters entertain below in the center of hte room, above them, the feathered dragon watches, the greatest enforcer of the rules here. She twists her great neck to see the Freeholderof Fenix and nods

Jessica approaches Aubela Grande and bows. "Buenos Dias." Formally. "Merry Beltaine."

"Merry Beltaine," The dragoness says, "It is good to see you again. My grandchild is not here if you are looking for her. Studies."

"The mortal school?" Politely.

"Si, the Liam connection have been good ,a cover for her being Honduran and Fae alike"

Jessica nods. "I'm glad it's been useful, Aubela Grande. And, thank you for your watch over this place." She looks out over the room.

"Um. It's not very... Beltaine-y. Is it?"

"What is Beltainey in your view?" Curious draconic tilt

"Well. More ... spring. More flowers. A sense of turning to.... you know. Seelie."

"Mmmm mm what makes you think they are not? SOmetimes one fights for honor no? And there can be a beuauty in the battle... in holding onto life... they fight it, this wheel turn, but while they hide it well, they are succumbing. THis hold is remembering itself more and more, relearning the rules. I think before the sun sets you'll find it , like a petulant child, finally behaving."

Jessica watches the business of the 'Hold, trying to observe impartially. "I'd... like to see that."

"It may take a bit, do you have the time?" The dragon asks. Meanwhile, looking around, one thing Jessica notes is.. oh, shes not feeling unseelie herself, in fact, she's not even feeling the influence of that. Normally this place and it's glamour lean towards passion, violent passions at times, but while there is still a sense of wrath, but it is more righteously directed.

"I'm Seelie." She says evenly.

"mm I apologize, did I say you were not or should not be?" Abuela Grande says, "or are you talking to someone else when you say that?"

"I wouldn't speak for another. I'm Seelie." Still watching the room. "There's a lot of... energy here."

"I'm glad it's learning to be what it is."

"It is taking it's time, but yes" THe great dragon gestures at some outrage in the pit as the crowd boos someone who tried a cheating move... dishonorable! "it is happening"

A faint smile on the troll's lips as she watches.

More than that, the usual lust that pulses through some of the audience at the sight of the violence seems less fiery, more like a gentle wind and sunlight mixed. Some couples hold hands and ..actually talk. Honor and love are rising a bit.. the first more than the other, but for now, Jessica gets to watch and enjoy. A drink is brought to her, just lemonade, compliments of Symond. It's cool, and refereshing and non boozey
