"And you would owe me" Shard looks at Jessica "Agreed?"

"Depends on what and who you keep?" Negotiating. Tweak would be... proud?

A nod "I see. Yes, I suppose that would depend. Agreed. But to protect this place..."//"Sir Buce will do that, he's a skilled warrior" Mitra says

"And you have Abuela Grande." She points out.

"Alright. I shall see to it now then" Shard moves off, "Make sure Buce is here within the hour " And gone

Symond grins "He's not dumb, but I'm smarter"

Jessica looks at Mitra. "Can you send him here? I'll wait here till he can arrive and get in place."

"Right away" She bows and goes.

Symond watches moonie go, then glance over at JEssica "Mistress Tweak know this is going down? This way I mean?"

"I didn't tell her, no."

"I'm gonna have to, just so you get where my loyalties is"

"That's fine. I'd have told her myself, if I'd thought of it."

"Scool then" She says "The pulse of this place is pretty heady, real aggressive. We had two women go at it, turned into an impromptu cat fight. GOt me thinking we should have a Belle of the Brawl night"

"I guess... I guess there's a need for places like this." She doesn't sound completely comfortable with it, though. "Combat zones."

"Consider it a contained focus... also the Nunnehi seem to like it. Seen like two of them while I've been here"

"You have??" Jessica is immediately alert. "Who? Which ones? What were they doing?"

"Watching the fights mostly, said something about it being sacred... you know , folks thought I was weird with my blood ritual stuff but they love it. As for which ones? I don't know, I didn't ask them their names or nothin. THey weren't causing trouble so I let it be"

Thoughtful. "I think... maybe there should be a standing rule to greet them and ask if they'd like to meet."

"A standing rule? you do know that half the time kithain want them dead , and vice versa?"

"Don't you think we should try to overcome that?"

"We're fighting each other, Fae are fighting each other, because that's what we've always done. That seems like a stupid reason, to me."

"Yeah, but this isn't your hold" She reminds

"It's part of my fief."

"Yeah, but within the hold itself? Many dukes tell Counts what laws go IN the the count's hold?" A raised brow

"No, of course not." Jessica frowns.

"Our holds are not in competition. We're not set against each other, we will work together."

"Right and when the COnsortium is good with the overall plan I'll abide by it for my part of things here. But you don't tell us what to do IN this hold. PRetty sure that's the way the boss would say it"

Jessica scowls but says nothing.

"Sides, don't you have a ward that wants these guys to die? Alejandro? He's got reason for it"

"He's got a good reason for it, yes. But he doesn't make the rules."

"I'm around if you need me, Symond." She steps away. "I'm going to explore a bit."

"Knock yourself out" She says

Disgruntled, Jessica explores.

It is much as she saw before. That pulse of something savage and sacred here going on. She doesn't feel the fire as strongly. IT has, after all, been claimed and is no longer open to just anyone without permission.

She does see a dragon above, high up, watching sleepily

She waves a greeting and lingers by the 'Fire for a moment, observing.

The dragon flutters down, feathers and all "And how fare you? She who gave me a new chance at life and awakened my kin?"

Nice to see SOMOENE is grateful

"You can call me Jessica." The troll invites, not without amusement. "I'm... ok. Hey.... do you see the Nunnehi here? When they come?"

"of course" She says "We talk. They think this place sacred and are pleased with me for I am an old dream reborn, or so they claim. Mm?" SHe says "Many of them are arrogant, and stubborn, some are merely sad. The flayed ones, the Obsidian men, and more"

"Do you think there's any chance they'd meet with me?"

"Here is neutral ground, maybe." She says "But is a place not suited to peace" She admits

"Is there other neutral ground around here? They don't think Fenix is, do they?"

"Fenix is a place of healing, if they had sense they'd see that, but they are too proud to see it that way" SHe says "As for other netrual ground? I do not know"

"Damn. Here, then?"

"Maybe. I am unsure" The dragon says "remember, you are more familar wit hthis area than I am. Though they talk to me more freely."

"Could you talk to them for me?"
