Jess stands guard over the girl, Maul at the ready.

BIC: And they come... a battle galore and... she hears her boyfriend laughing ...as chaos erupts all around

"Son of a.... DUFF!"

"What? This is great..." He punches something charging, even as she is forced to hammer acrazed chimera

Jessica focuses on defending her charge, swinging her Maul with precision.

She strikes, and hammers, the maul flaring and bursting and... even as this happens, her will directs the excess glamour to cascade and finally light the web work over the pit... blue flame bursts everyehwere as the pit turns into a freehold!

Jessica -sweats- directing her will and her muscle in different directions, while defending the child that she brought here to start it all.

If she was hoping to gentle this hold, to temper it, make it something more nocker worthy or boggan friendly... that cause is lost.....the mortals here are not great in numer but are enchanted too and lose their minds for the moment, some fighting like gladiators of Rome for the glory of victory. Others are almost prizes ready to be claimed by those victors... she can't direct this, the hold is taking on shapes beyond her control!

She grits her wolf's teeth and stands her ground

The battle is vicious, Shard bellows and takes on all comers! Duff, duf fights dirty against foes coming on.

Jessica endeavours to give as good as she gets, while protecting her charge.

Somewhere in the fight, the kiddo turned clurichaun stopped kicking her shin and instead started cheering her on

And when it is done... the Chimera are either dead, or subued, or seem to be waiting.... the flame flows blue...

and nothing in her fief will b e the same for their are two holds.

Humans in a mass daze, a young Clurichain age 8. and and wounded fae and scattered chimera. The hold has turned to resemble an aztec temple meets an arena

Jessica leans on her Maul to catch her breath. "Crap...." Muttered.

The blue fire means it's unclaimed..for now.

"What the hell h appened?" the little girl says, more red in her formerly brown hair, touches of green flecks in her eyes.

"Welcome to the Dream, little one." Jessica greets her, offers her a hand to rise. "I'm Jessica King."

"My English is better. Why is that?" She offers a hand, "Are you... blue?"

"Yes. I'm a troll. Not sure why your English has improved, but never look a gift horse in the mouth...." She helps the girl up. "'Scuse me a moment?"

"Si, I ..." She looks around "there are more of you? Yes, I suppose..."

Shard is approaching, "You could warn a man, King."

The dark sinned troll seems to have gained the voile of a gladiator, trident and net

Jessica does a double take at Shard and speaks to girl. "Yes, there are more of us. Many more. We're the Fae, like you. I'm a troll, you're a Clurichaun, I think. Excuse me." She moves to the Balefire.

The balefire burns blue..unclaimed. Duff is near it. "Very tempting" he admits

She gives him a small smile. "I thought you didn't want one?"

"It's kind of like saying a mansion is too expensive to keep up, sure you KNOW that, but if you see one on sale for cheap by some accident"

"This hold has my blood, sweat, and tears" Shard says "The fae brought here to fight were brought by me. If anyone wants to claim it, they'll have to fight me for it"

Jessica measures him up. "Let's get the wounded cared for and the mortals safe. I'll ask someone to come for our new Clurichaun. If we can agree to both leave the 'Fire alone until the situation is stable, I'll take you at your word and then we'll fight for it."

"I keep hearing a voice telling me it's mine," The girl says approaching, "or should be.. "//"That's the Dream dance talking" Duff says to her "Pay it no mind,and let older fae decide your fate."//"Well, okay I..HEY" She glares

"No, she could be right. But.... say, what's your name?"

"Sayda...and I feel like fighting " Her brow knits

"But.. I think that would be death" she looks up

and UP at the tall folks

"Ok, well, let's not start a fight right now, Sayda. It might be your 'Fire after all." She looks back at the darker troll. "Shade, are we agreed? No fighting or claiming the Balefire until we've stabilized things?"

Shard snorts "For now. Yes"

Jessica nods. "Ok, then." She looks around to assess the situation.

Chimerical wounds are the norm , for enchanted mortals and changelings alike. She herself has several cuts, woundss and yes, does Shard and some of the other fighters. There's a redcap nearly dead with a chimerical arm in his mouth. There's a satyr with a broken leg.

the mortalss, enchanted, have either become warriors themselves, or prizes. One confused tourist hoping to enjoy the seedier side of life finds herself dressed in an almost harem like outfit waiting for which ever victor claims her for the night. Given the dreamers Jessica saw here earlier, she's probably not alone.

If there's anyone available, she sends word to Fenix... although really, the entire Fief is likely aware and enroute....

Those with healing powers and cantrips are deployed to tend the wounded.

For Tomas, this has reaped a great benefit, for the glamoour burst seems to have super charged at least one chimerical insect and it is now racing around the streets as big as a pony

Jessica will not stand for mortals being mistreated or taken advantage of.

"Let's get them under the care of someone who can help them come out of the Enchantment."
