"I think he's decided to look for hsi friends among hte crowds AND deliver food... hmmm his back looks better, more like first degree. I wonder if Clem knows?"

"Oh for...... Hang on, Diego...." She marches over to Arter. "Arter."

Arter is out in the street already, does she follow?

She does!

Well, then she catches him carrying a large bag of food, he turns "Yes?"

She gestures to take the bag. "Give me that, go in and let the water finish healing you."

"No offense, Chieftain, but I don't work for you. I'm healthy enough to search now. I made an oath to protect my motley and I can start looking for them in the crowd"

I'm not a Chieftain, I'm the Calpuleh here." Calmly, gesturing for the bag. "You're not as healthy as you could be. Look, you said you were at the fairgrounds in Kansas City, and then here, right? Give me the bag."

Well, the bag is NOT his, so... he sighs and hands it over "yes, I did say that. "

She shoulders it. "Ok, look. I know that area. Go finish healing, and I'll see to it you get back there. There's a ... a trod nexus nearby. That'll help, right?"

"I feel fine, hardly miffed" He insists

Clem comes ouy with some more food to bring along then sees Arter, her mouth falls open as she sees he's only half healed, and her eyes narrow

"Maybe, but what if your friends need you when you find them?"

"I seem to have a gift for upsetting you ladies," he notices Clem's sour look, "I was at perfect health when this started. And I still lost them."

Clem's nostrils flare, "That's it, I'm just gonna hafta heatherbalm him aren't I?"

Jessica winces on Arter's behalf. "Clem, let's not force Arts on anyone that doesn't want them.... "

"Save your glamour" He holds out a hand, "I'll be fine."

The hand held in a stop palm out way

Clem rolls her eyes "Of all the macho bulldurhum... fine. Walk around like lobsterbacked lunkhead"

"No, Clem, I'm sure Arter will see the way clear to getting himself in top form in the next few minutes. So he can get to his friends, last seen around the KC fairgrounds. Fastest way there by trod is through Fenix, right?"

"I'll consider it" He heads back in

Clem huffs "Oh he'll be fun on the farm" But she moves with Jessica to go into the crowds

"Thanks." To Arter as he goes. "He's going to the farm?" She asks Clem curiously.

"Probably not," Clem says "I was trying my hand at sarcasm. The stubborn cuss. I hate being ignored"

"Me too. Although, if he does patch himself up, think you or one of yours could take him back to KC? I guess Firnost is as good a place as any to look for people you've lost." She asks. "Just tell him to stay out of the rafters." That, a bit grimly.

"We'll guide him" She sighs "RIght of rescue and all that"

"Thanks. Least we can do and he doesn't want to stay here." She shrugs, bag still balanced on her shoulder.

"Don't take it personally" She says "he's just dedicated to his motley"

"Well, I can understand that, I guess. I'm going to get this inside, you ok here?"

"SUre. I take it you want to be told of any fae we find period?"

"Yes, and give them directions here. I'm going out with Diego. Me casa su casa, hermana." She gives Clem a little grin. "E gracias."

"De Nada" she winks and heads out

Jess goes in to settle the bag in the kitchen and find Diego.

Diego is steward, and that means technically he's in charge of invetnory so he is hard pressed today, but managing it well "By all means, send a few jugs of water to the church, it wil lspeed soup production"

He looks over to Jessica "Please don't tell me another thousand have come in?"

"Another -thousand-? Of what?"

"Refugees"

A pause "OR DeBukes"

"No, not as far as I know. I was going to ask if you wanted to hit that patrol now."

"I could use a break from this, yes. Let's go."

She grabs her maul and when he's ready, off they go.

They head off to oversee and aid.

Her maul notwithstanding, Jessica makes notes about what is needed where.

Time passes andthey work and ...among the carvan, she notices (So far, there are hundreds to check) only one Kithain. A boggan

She nods to him.

The boggan looks surprised and makes his way to her... his spanish is hard to figure out at first (Different dialect) but she may find him an invalable source of information about who is in the most need, and the few folks they skulking about seeking to take advantage of the refugees

"Diego, we should get this guy to Maria...." Then to the guy in question. "Cual se tu nombre?"
