------------Out at the beach----------

"It's okay. You know, whammed up as I am, I could have almost any fellow on that beach. That bath is great, though I have to take your word for it that I'm strutting without realizing it. I just..." An admission, "I sometimes look at other troll women and wonder what's wrong with me. One day I want a lover, maybe even just a fling, adnd then other times I think where's the life partner at ? I can't even talk to my elders about it. I think the embarrassment would lay me out if not out right kill me"

The waves continue playfully

Jess nods. "I understand. Duff and I... it's good. He's a good guy, really, I think. But... I don't know if it's forever, you know?"

"Aren't you worried he's eventually going to want more? Olgar is unseelie and even he settled down."

Amused thought "Still not sure who caught who there, if Kerri laid a brilliant trap or persistence on his part paid off. Both maybe"

Jess chuckles. "I have the feeling they both caught each other but if I had to put money down, I'd say it was Kerri who did the catching."

After a moment. "Duff's .... hinted at that. Wanting more. If he does, and he can find it... I'd be happy for him." She flexes, breaking the tension that holds her above the water in her backfloat, and sinks under briefly only to surface again and wipe the water from her face. Now, she treads.

"JUST happy?" A question but then, something flickers with glamour below allowing an excuse to change the subject

Jess looks below her. "Clem, careful... something's.... here."

"Let's get to shore."

Clem looks down, then "not sure what it is... it doesn't seem to be moving towards us... but then, how did we not notice it until now? "

Jess is slowly backing to shore, keeping her eyes on the area. "Not sure it was there the whole time."

Clem backs away too, frowning. Then tilts her head "Do ... you hear something?"

Jess pauses to listen.

indeed, Jessica does...sweet music, captivating and rich....

"Clem... " Slowly "... I don't... think.... " she trails off, listening.

and it's oh so lovely, and Jessica may not realize she's swimming back

Clem seems to fare better, "Jessica? didn't you want to go back to shore?" ///The sea's song pulls at Jessica

Jess swims out to be closer to the music....

"Guess not" Clem says

Then clem follows and... "oh...it is lovely"

And both plunge down slowly into the water...

THere's a soft current, not strong enough to pull them against their will, but oh that sweet sweet music. They barely realize they've passed through the trod.
