Jessica nestles in, sighing.

"You may feel free to call me anytime if this is the result" Duff observes stroking her hair gently

"Duff...."

"Listen.... Something happened."

Duff raises a brow "I'm listening." he is now looking her over as if expecting some scar or something

"Jessica?"

"I found a pre-Chrysalid, and I didn't know... you can't know, right? You can't.... Look....." She struggles. "I .... slept with someone else."

He stiffens 'I..." He closes his eyes, and breaths deep in, a calming technique, "I am listening." But she can feel his tenseness

"Her name is Nancy. A Satyr."

"I don't plan to repeat it."

"Wait...Nancy? you slept with a woman? " He looks over

DEEP PURPLE.

"Technically, yes."

"Oh" Duff's tension washes out, "Why didn't you say that at the start?"

And he smiles with relief

"Duff, we had sex. A lot. I think." Still purple. "There was also some shopping. And dancing. And a rave, I think."

"Jessica, on the logical side? You got caught in a dream dance, of a satyress. It's got to be over powering for anyone. On the more..persoanl side? If it had been a man you had slept with I would have been upset and angry. but it wasn't. So if you're okay with Nancy, so am I."

Flushed and heated. "I'm not. But mostly, I wanted you to know before you heard it elsewhere. I mean... she's here."

"Of course , she's new and needs help" He tells her "you help people... I admire it even if it makes me crazy. But don't be mad at yourself, and don't be made at her. Dream dances aren't...controlled. You know that. She didn't mean to."

"I know." Carefully. "I'll.... talk with her. I got Diego to take.... I mean, to talk to her."

"Good, satyr lessons are best from othher satyrs." He says, 'mm honestly, the only thing I'm annoyed with about this?"

"I wasn't invited"

A huff.

And then, "You did nothing wrong, Jessica. Neither of you. Everyone gets caught up in a storm now and then." He kisses her

"Hmph." But she kisses him back.
