Disgruntled muttering in the Forge. "Who th' fuck left my shit all over th' place?"

Grumbling, baby in sling, the nocker doesn't so much "putter" around her workspace as "dismantle-and-reorganize-with-a-vengeance."

"How I s'posed to get brilliant shit done 'round here?!"

Symond says "You asking to ask or you asking to bitch?"

A glare at Symond, then, "Yes."

However, the resorting is going efficiently. She apparently knows where everything is supposed to be, and mutters as she works. "The disenjamber goes here, next to th' span-tula...."

"Well, chu knocked all sorts of shit over when your baby done at your brains, but then others figured it wasn't in use later when yo u down. the Cooperative ain't just you and me you know"

Where the hell is her nine fring framaztat?

"Th' fuck you talkin' 'bout? What th' Cooperative got t' do with my desk? An'...wait...where th' fuck is the other framaztat?"

"Oh, Franzen must still have that. "

She stops and turns and blinks at Symond. "What Franzen doin' wit' my goddam framaztat?"

"Only the nine ring one" SHe says "Someone had to do the making while you were ..you know, indisposed. "

"Though Bianchi says SHES" the one who had to take charge..." A mutter

She glances down at the baby (who is sleeping and thus generating a ridiculous amount of heat...gotta find some way to work with that...) and then narrows her eyes at Symond. "How much my other stuff go walkin'? You keep a list who got what?"

"Bianchi done said WHAT?"

"Do I look like a furking idiota?" A snort, "Course I got the list..it's...around here somewhere"

And she winces at the question about Bianchi

"Biaanchi and Franzen ...though She's louder about , both kind of..started taking charge of the Co op"

Tweak's eyes get very big. "They FUCKIN' WHAT?!! GET THEY ASSES IN HERE!"

...at which point Shuri startles awake and starts half-hearted wimpering.

"Aw, fuck..."

"uhm.. okay, but you'll need to fill out a form... see, to call a co op meeting, according to the new rules..."

"A...form?" Trying not to yell, but her face is going very red indeed. Shuri's wimpers increase, and Tweak quickly rearranges clothing to pop a breast in her daughter's mouth while she tries to think.

"I should get nec firstso he can, you know? Baby?" Symond is ready to whimper herself

"Fine, y'know what....fine. We gonna do this like th' goddam nobles do it." A deep breath. "Greasemonkey, would you please go and invite just those two crafters so I can thank them for their....help, an' they c'n meet th' baby. An' you c'n help 'em bring back th' stuff they done borrowed."

"They say they need a form, tell 'em this ain' no meeting...it to visit th' baby."

"uh sure sure" She says "the baby? yeah sure." And Symond flees

As it turns out, a moment later, Nec does come in, "Heh, Symond running out of here like she got half her left ass cheek missing. "

She turns on him. "Didju know? 'Bout they tryna take over th' goddam Cooperative?"

Shuri has slipped back to sleep, so Tweak reorganizes clothing yet again.

"What? who be hatin now?" He blinks, and she knows him well enough that he's confused on that one, "Bitch. I got my own empire. "

Necropsis takes his daughter up unless Tweak objects, gently so not to wake her and holds her almost without htinking about it

"Fuckin' Franzen an' that Bianchi bitch. Accordin' t' Greasemonkey, they done been takin' my shit right outta th' Forge an' makin' up some kinda 'new rules'...with forms an' shit."

She hands over the baby easily enough, and goes back to putting things back where they belong with a sullen vengeance.

Muttering. "...think they gonna jus' fuckin' pull some kinda back-stabbin' shit while I doin' fuck' construction work on th' insides...."

"You want me to shoot their asses? He offers

"Hell, yes, I want that." Grumpily, she drops into her perfectly-squeaky chair.

Nec raises a brow, but nods, "So...forms n shit. "

"An' I don' even know what else. They been sayin' shit like somebody-got-to-take-over-while...." She trails off and frowns at her workspace. "I wuz gonna make shit today. Good shit. Now I gotta do this."

"not if I shoot em" He reminds

"See? 'Nother reason to do it."

A sigh. "You maybe sh'ld stick 'round, make sure I don' cap no one."

At that time, the door opens up, and ...Franzen comes in, grumbling. Lab coat, he looks a lot like a younger version of the 'un pimp your ride ' commercial's German Scientist , as a nocker. "Why the furk do mothhers think their angels are someone everyone has to see?"

"Cuz when we got this much perfect in th' room, we gotta balance it out wit' a crusty ol' fart like you." She nods at him. "Howzit hangin'?"

"Furkin okay. Steam powered micro fracker extractor is almost done."

He does look at Shuri, "Huh." A pause "Nice goggles "

"Yeah? You figger out th' transfer ratio?"

"Ah, them's just t' start her out. We gonna go big time on her gear, you watch."

"I upped it 12% and wideneed the variance, of course."
