There's a baby in the hold. You can tell, because babies don't respect 3 in the morning sleeps

"Oh for th' love of....you hungry again?" Tweak rolls out of bed, bleary on the 45 minutes of sleep she was able to get. "Yeah, yeah, a'ight....jus' shaddup." She looks over at the other side of the bed to see if Nec is there...and what her chances might be of slapping the Moobiv8tor on him before he wakes up.

Crawly has taken to sleeping on his stomach lateely. Damn it, why couldn't she be attrated to a stupid man?

She winds up, ready to smack his ass hard and deliver the If-I-be-up-you-be-up speech...but it doesn't make any sense, and she doesn't have the energy, and the new boss is crying up a storm. "Yeah, a'ight, hang on."

She gets over to the crib and checks the baby's diaper first. "You a fuckin' pain in th' ass sometimes, y'know?" But it's said with a tone of deeply-felt love.

The diaper is clean, she's hungry it seems.

"Course. Fuckin' brilliant crafter, head of a crafter's Cooperative...an' now I ain' nothin' but a drink dispenser. Okay, le's get this shit goin'...." She settles with the baby in a glider chair and gets set to nurse.

Soon, Shuri is enjoying her meal and has, of course, stopped crying.

Tweak watches the face of the most beautiful baby ever.

Necropsis mutters "Thank you black jesus" as things went quiet, meaning to be quiet himself but she heard him!

"You a fuckin' coward, an' black jesus gonna be havin' a 'Come to Wife' meetin' wit' yo' ass."

A groan, as he realizes he's been busted, he rolls over and looks at Shuri happily sucking away, "Firstly, it's pretty clear I ain't invited to this party, unnless the spare is for me. Second, why two of us need to be losing sleep? I got to count over a thousand hos every night so I don't get in till late anyway, third, do not think of putting that 'fit it and tit it' contraption on me, and don't think I don't see you eying it. Third..." A pause, "you okay?"

She snorts. "First, fuck you. Second, you gonna take a minute right now to thank me for not beatin' yo' ass like I was gonna...I let you sleep, mo' fo', until you rat yerself out! An' third...you done had two 'thirds' idiot." A snort as she refocuses on the baby. "M'fine. Tired as sin, but...I ain' gonna drop her, if that what you askin'. Do what you gonna do."

A grunt, a groan. Slowly he gets up, and walks over to the two of them, kissing his true heart either on the cheek or lps, depending on how likely she looks to bite, "How many times you hauled that still chunky ass up to feed her ?"

"It ain' chunky, it bit-o-honey. An' right now, outa ev'ry 2 hours, I be spending 20 minutes feedin'. She beginning to sleep a little more solid durin' th' night, though."

A smile at her honey comment. he agrees, but shit his tongue won't let him say then he listens "Evry two..." He frowns, "Formula work, right? Didn't suddenly become a poison in the news?"

"Tits hurt like a bitch if I ain' play moo-cow on th' regular. 'Sides, ain' like babygirl gonna get her own formula bottle, somebody still gotta get they ass outta bed." A pointed look.

((make that three hours))

He rolls all six of his eyes then "Woman, I never said I wouldn't use no bottle. I said I'd rather eat glass than have your device Kaitlyn Jenner me. We get a bottle ready of moo juice or formula, and I take turns ok." he ..looks apologetic a bit, then adds, "Sides, I know you be whispering things in Shuri's ear trying to get her on your side. Probably try to turn her into some craftin tool monkey like you instead of following in her old man's footsteps of pimping out wimmen. I deserve equal brainwashing time"

"Oh, yeah, I jus' hear th' baby stories you be tellin' her...Goldilocks an' the Three Pooka Pervs, shit like that." A smirk as she shifts Shuri to the other side in a move that seems to be becoming fairly natural.

"What can I say, streeet poetry runs in my blood" A nod, "I warm da bottles, and then rattle off to her about little red riding in the hood sometime"

At the word warm an idea lights into Tweak's head! Oh she can think again! A full thought! Completed even! Bottle warmers aren't new, but she's got an idea for a quick and easy device to help her set up a bottle or three so she ...yes, stored breast milk, quick warming and bottle dispeensor... it can be done! Heck, she can make it fit near the bed!

That blinkity-blink-blink look that Nec probably knows, almost like hearing tiles fall into place, as she stares at that space next to Nec's side of the bed. "Wait a...huh...shit, okay, yeah....that could work..." mutters.

He realizes he's just gone invisible, "My bitch have her titties out, but I ain't getting any. I talking, but she ain't listening no more. Black jesus, why ou make it so hard being a man?"

But he can't help but smile a bit as he sees her.. where she loves being. In that moment of inspiration and knowing all that might follow

A final few mental calculations, and she refocuses on him...and grins toothily. "You gonna have th' fuckin' ritzy-est bottle station a new daddy ever done have."

"huh?" But he doesn't doubt it, and Shuri has..fallen asleep having hd her fill

"An' it gonna be a snap. Need mebbe hour, mebbe two tomorrow, then it be all set.

"Here, get a burp outta her afore you put her down, a'ight?" She passes the baby to Nec.

He takes Shuri into his arms, and the same hands that would pull a trigger on a stranger and put a hole in him for breathing funny his way, are ...very tender and gentle as he pats his daughter "Come on, burp some of that nasty Nocker toxin outta you, for yo daddy" Pat pat then to Twea,k, "You go onto bed and..wait, you ain't fucing starting building now is you?"

"Fuck, man, ev'ry last bit o' me want to go to th' Forge...'cept my eyes. They jus' gonna do what they' gonna do, an' I ain' gon' do no good wit' 'em closed." She gets up and gives him a kiss, then kisses Shuri's forehead. "Sleep. li'l wench." And she crawls back into bed.

He nods, "And stay your ass in bed like I tole you" He says after the kiss, and then when his daughter burps, rather than put her right away, he stays in the chair with her for awhile. When he thinks both baby and Tweak are asleep, he looks left, right, and sings a song, his attempt at a lullby to keep his daughter a sleep "Hush little Shuri, don't you cry. Any mofo that hurt you, he gonna die. His blood gonna run out on the pavement red. Cuz your blackass daddy gonna shoot him dead."

Jessica feels ansty. A part ofh er is tempted to go back to the Pit, that placee was so ripe to become a freehold it almost ..well, the type it would be would be dark and dangerous but then again doesn't every hold bring something back? Then again... no, she's gotten distracted. She is supposed to be helping Duff deal with a street gang. Unfortuantely they are in hurry up and wait mode.

Restless, she finds herself patrolling, maul in hand.

She's been out of the habit of patrolling solo; better to go in pairs. Today, though, she needs the time alone.

It helps a little. Oh her mind is still full with questions about Shard and the pit, Duff and his way of doing things, helping her hold, Tweak's and Nec's adorable little girl, and , yes, finding an avenue of peace for at least some Nunehi. But at least alonee she can compartmentalize a bit more.

She notices a shuffling sound down one alley, but it could be anything, and going down alleys alone is a risk. Still, she DID think she heard something

She pauses, keeping her back to the wall, and looks down the alley. She's found things in alleys before.....

The one being dragged doesn't have a mein, but she's sure there's a kithain soul in there. Either that person is 'asleep' because of Banality, or it's a fae soul who has yet to have a dream dance. The other two? Definitely non Kithain

Well. Right of Rescue. Maul in hand, she whispers "See me not," and passes her hand in front of her face from top to bottom, as if lowering blinds, casting a Fuddle on them to make them forget what they are doing.

OOC Or, she doesn't, as she only as Actor 1. Make it a long shot, or DLP? -SHE- would know if she had a hope in hell....

OOC Okay. I think Fugue is what you want to make them forget things, Fuddle allows you to alter perceptions so they ight see her as sosmething else, but alas, unless her actor is higher the only way she can do that is if she wants to spend like 3 glamour for a temporary realm boost which is, costly
