She wraps her arms about Jonas, even as she rolls her eyes at Siv. "Nerd."

"I prefer the term Renaissance Explorer" Siv says faux loftily

Jonas holds Piper firmly and gently at the same time, treasuring her. "Now, for the moment at least, it appears to be just the three of us"

Piper can't help but hum a few bars of "just the two of us".

Then she scootches over and pats the bed. "Sit with me?" To both Siv and Jonas.

They do, the weight on each side causes Piper to lift up a bit

"So, you saw.. I meant it to be a surprise - or rather, I was going to ask you about..." She starts, then stops, and tries to gett her thoughts in order. "I've been thinking a lot about us. The nature of our relationship and family, and how to best ensure that our babies are taken care of and linked to all three of us.

"I noticed the last names," Jonas smiles a bit "Thank you for that"

Siv agrees, "Means more than we show"

She takes Siv's hand, and one of Jonas's. "I had hoped to talk about this in a better setting, but... well, the babies made their OWN schedule.. so... in an ideal world, we would be in a relationship that EVERYONE would respect, including the government, for all sorts of mundane reasons. But we have to work within their guidelines, otherwise we run the risk of someday there being, I dunno, some sort of emergency and one or another of us is blocked from each other, or the babies..."

"Or visitor limitations" Siv opines with annoyance "Aye"

She inhales, then exhales. "Siv, will you marry me?" Even as she reaches out and takes Jonas's hand in one of hers.

Siv's beams "I was.. I was going to propose to you two after you got out of the hospital. I mean, aye. I know paperwork would make that unlikely but a spiritual cermony." Then a thought "You mean the legal side, don't ye?"

She is glancing back and forth, then stands and turns instead, so she can face Jonas and Siv both at the same time, taking each of their hands.

"Legally, I want us to get married, you and I, Siv. Then you can adopt the babies as your daughter and son, according to mortal muggle mundane laws. And of course Jonas will be on the birth certificates as the da, so he's covered there too."

A pause, she has more to say it seems, but is checking their reactions.

Jonas looks.. resigned, and other than that, is very hard to read. "That's.. logical"

Siv considers "Does allow all three of us in. And I'd be proud to be your wife"

"But that's not all. Not the half of it. That's just..." She lets go of Siv's hand so that she can make an expressive hand flutter gesture, "muggle stuff. For us?" She takes Siv's hand again, and holds them together - joining Siv and Jonas's hands with her much smaller hands cupped around them. "I want to be with both of you. And have it be known that we are ALL together. Will you oath with me? Not the wishywashy satyr oath - the real one. I want you both as my truehearts - you already ARE, but I want to swear it, in front of the dreaming and the entire world, and I want to do things right."

A pause, and she says, "And if you'll have me, us, Jonas? I DO want to marry you - both of you. Siv's name can be on the stupid marriage license, but as far as the ceremony, and vows? I want you there where it counts. Maybe we can even work it into an oathing ceremony."

Jonas' eyes alight, "Are you kidding? I've been working on oaths for weeks for the three of us!"

"You have?" Siv is surprised , delightedly so "Wait, Truehearts for three?"

"THat's one variation" He admits, then looks to Piper "And the Satyr Oath IS real, Pip. We know that, but... well, are you sure about the Trueheart traditional? It can be considered rigid" He does not say by satyr standards. He does not want to insult her
