The drive on this job has been uneventful, relatively by the book. Frank has even had a chance to listen to a new audiobook, a western given him by his daughters for a birthday

Sometimes it's nice to take a break from his usual self-improvement, reflection, and enrichment audiobooks for a bit of fluffy fun.

It's possible the protagonist is the kind of hero a Seelie troll who travels for a living can sympathize with anyway

OOC Wow, Frank....

He's driving through some hilly forested country , big enough for a truck but it's got curves... pretty area. Then he sees it... half lost in foliage signs of a broken rail ..someone has lost control and gone down the hill

He frowns and slows, looking to see if there's something present now that caused the accident as he comes to a stop.

Some sort of lubricant... dried now, but wet earlier... could have leaked from the vehicle that fell... or could be what caused the overshoot and crash

Before he climbs down from the cab he scans to see if the scene is safe, and once on the ground he continues to be sharp-eyed as he approaches the downed vehicle.

Not his first rodeo on finding a safe spot for his vehicle. He makes his way down, wary and keen sighted he sees the car, it's relatively lucky. IT could have fallen further down but some limbs helped pin it... but it is vertical. Airbags deployed. A guy inside looks roughed up by alive. Of course, those limbs could let go... and then down driver and car will go another 40 feet

(Hazards on!)

Confirming what he sees, he calls 911 and apprises them of the situation. Having had first aid training, he lets them know he's going to take a closer look and offer assistance if he can.

They thank him, and tell him to 'be careful'. They also admit theyv'e got another wreck being tneded to so.. they may be a bit slower than normal

Frank acknowledges and puts his phone away before shifting the first aid bag on his shoulder and approaching, still careful.

Nimble for a big guy.

He gets to the vehicle with a bit of caution, and soon as at the driver's side. Looks like one branch is doing the bulk of the heavy lifting

OOC can you clarify about the branch?

(Said Branch is the main thing that keeps the car from going down the rest of the incline. It appears to be holding.. for now.)

Frank takes a good look through the windows at the rest of the car to make sure he's not missing anyone before he carefully and gently tests the driver's door handle.

Looks like the driver was alone. He's stunned and the airbag kept him from worse injury but he appears to be stuck. The door handle is locked

Is he awake?

Hard to tell... but Frank sees fingers flexing

He taps gently on the window and says "Unlock your door carefully. I'm here to help you."

the man twists , relieved to hear a voice of someone "i'm...bag is not retracting... I think I can reach the lock with my free hand" that hand is a bit bloody but only at the knuckles. There's a click, the door unlocks

As he twists, the car sways just a bit... and the branch gives a soft grumble groan

"Careful. Don't move." Frank's hand is still on the handle and he moves so he's on the downhill slope, bracing the car with his shoulder against the windshield frame before he clicks the door open. Just that, not pulling on it yet.

"Don't move? I want out of here" the man says sounding slightly panicked

"Yeah, and we're going to make that happen but without this car taking you down the rest of this hill, ok?" calmly "I see your hand is hurt; is anything else as far as you can tell?"

"My foot feels ...tender.. could be sprained? I can't see it."

"Ok." a calm rumble from the big man "If I swing this door open and brace the car, can you get free from it, do you think? Doesn't have to be graceful, just get clear from it."

"I can try... but how are you going to hold up a car??"

"I'm pretty strong and there's some trees helping hold it." he fudges "Ok. I'm going to slowly open the door, then you gently try to get clear of the car. Ready?"

"Ready" The man says after calming a bit

And.. then he tries

but the guy gets free only to stumble on his way out and he stats to 'fall' past Frank with a scream
