Vali casts a few omens on the passing chimera... Gemjays and so on

And looks troubled

The omens indicate the Chimera are here because a nocker...

rumors have it Silverwolf is the leader in Never tek research

So.. ergo? The Baron has sent his nocker to perform experiments on Rivervale chimera!

What diabolical scheme is going on in there?

Gemjays, Nevers, Mushroom-folk, Color-changing butterflies, easter-egg-colored chipmunks, bunnies with antlers...

(Giant frggin' centipedes...)

The nevers are a surprise. They exist in Bergen, of course, but never in this concentration without very young children about

"Any of you chimera talk?"

Getting spotted by one means more show up.

The three of them jingle excitedly, overlapping bell tones as each 'talks' to Vali at the same time.

Vali has enough of a sense of humor to realize he brought this on himself "Okay ok. Gonna cast an omen on one of you, rather than the area.. but I think a trade is fair. " He says holding up a small bag "In this bag are some peppermint candies. Who will let me cast first?"

A bright blue one dives first, but red and orange are close behind!

Covering the bag in a big mitt so they can't just take it, he pulls out one at a time and flips them into the air, one two and three. Making it part of the bunk

Suddenly, a different Never shows up. She looks about the same at first, glowing with a vibrant, healthy golden hue, but is slightly larger, and her shape is a little... off?

He looks over at that one, "Well hello. You were with that Thistle girl I think." he gives her one too "And you are different. Is she trying to make other Nevers like you?"

Citrine considers the question, accepts the candy, then... blows him a raspberry!

perhaps the idea itself was insulting!

She alights on a post of the fence between two yards and poses, her wings not simple gossamer and light, but the finest gold wire and filigree...

Then, an idea. She buzzes over and chimes imperiously to the 'lesser' nevers.

A brow lift "I see." Omens flowing indicate a vortex with the nocker, pulling, but what device is being used? and why?

Blue's wings flitter, and Red & Orange perk up.

"You've all lovely as you are" He assures

Citrine produces a tool, a tiny awl of some sort, and brandishes it dramatically!

"And my apologies.. whoa now"

Some shoving, and then Orange lays down on Vali's hand and dramatically 'snores'

Citrine poses cutely, checking her nails. It seems they are doing a sort of pantomine.

A biiiig, overly emphasized yawn and stretch

Blue sits on Red's shoulders, and the pair wave their arms wildly, with wiggly fingers.

They creeeeeep towards sleeping Orange and Citrine.

A hand delicately cupped over the curve of a tiny, perfect ear.

The pair LOOMS and laugh an evil laugh. (As evil as a tiny clear bell can be, mind)

"Okay okay Let's stop this..."

A huge bark bursts from the porch

A high pitched shriek, hands on her cheeks, pointing to the 'monster'... and then Citrine stands, brandishing her tool!

Alarm! The "monster" tries to flee!

The little clockwork never shows no fear of the booming bark...

She is busy doing a Zorro impression, poking towards the blue and red foe!

Ivan approaches giving warning barks while the play goes on

Red and Blue are having fun wildly waggling their limbs around.

"Okay... this is pretty good theatre, but I seem to be pissing off the bouncer" vali says

And even MORE fun dramatically dying! ChiiiiiiiIiiiiimmmeeeeeeeeeee!

Citrine has stuck her candy to the tip of the awl, and then jabs Red right in the chest. BUMP!

TRIUMPHANT CHIME!
