"Oh cool. Talking cat! You the one that gave Briar a thrashing?"

Lovecraft blinks glowing green eyes, and licks her chops in response to Vali's question. Towards Thistle, "Small. Teeth. Stuuuuupid." Pausing to wash a paw.

Vali waits patiently. Can't rush a cat

Ivan is a GOOD boy, he can only chase the cat when it's on the lawn. But oh he would love to

She starts to creep towards Thistle, almost unconsciously, despite crossing the invisible line that the lawn demarcates.

One paw, then another on the grass!

Ivan puts one paw forward, as if assuming a ready to sprint position

"Ivan, sit! Be nice."

"They're guests."

Ivan sits, and is nice.. damn it. Guests. He can't chase guests. Even if they're creepy and smug and feline

Lovecraft trots forward now, and twines between Thistle's legs. Her face is SO SMUG towards the stoopid dog.

Vali has never seen her so interested in anyone other than Symon, or something small and squeaky and not long for life.

"This is Lovecraft. She is.. partners with a friend of ours named Symon"

"Yeah? She's pretty."

"Tuna. Goooood. Girl? Better." She purrs, claws flexing into the soft grassy turf.

Clearly the praise accepted. As is her due.

An indignant chime. Citrine can be a jealous type.

"Better than tuna?" Vali mutters

Lovecraft flops over, and her belly is in the air! HER BELLY. It looks so soft. so... soft.

Thistle crouches down and reaches to pet the belleh. Muppet likes it, so it follows that a cat would?

"Careful!"

"Mm?"

Green eyes dilate, becoming all pupil, and suddenly the shadowcat clamps down, grabbing her hand with teeth and forepaws! No longer velveted, they prick cruelly into her arm!

"(*&^#$#^$$##$#%$&YTGFERFGV^%$%$!!!"

And Ivan charges! Do not hurt the people!

Just in time, as the hind legs were readying for a raking kick, she releases and STREAKS like a black bolt out of the yard.

Leaving a perfect imprint of toothmarks and scratches to start to weep a little blood.

The cat gets away for Ivan stops at the dge of the yard but gives warning

She doesn't stop, and is soon gone into some nearby shadows.

"Yeah, sorry about that" Vali says

"Ow."

She flexes her hand, grumbling.

"Cats."

"Yeah..." He says daring to approach as the dog seems to be heeding the rule not to bite him "You need that healed? "

It is a small wound, rather series of wounds, a perfect outline of kitty jaws and some small punctures that were thankfully stopped short of being raking slashes. Not too bad, as long as they don't get infected, anyone with a touch of FA could tell.

"Here, it's not super effective anymore" He pulls out a plastic bag, in it is a sealed cookie, home made "So it won't cure you, but it should speed the natural healing process and keep infection at bay."
